Tires that run narrow and stretches well?

I purchased 18x9.5 +30 rear wheels for a BMW and am planning on running 235/40/18 tires for a very mild stretch.  I'm leaning towards the Toyo T1R, but are there other tires that are stretch friendly, and more importantly runs narrow, primarily for clearance purposes?  I know there are a few tires known to run wide.. but are there some that are known to run smaller than the indicated size?

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, the list of tires that run small are either discontinued or very limited. The tire that I am interested in doesn't appear on it either :(

Right now, I'm still open to options... if u could look into the Toyo T1R, Dunlop SP series, and Nexan, that would be most helpful. Great thread by the way !

Nankang NSII vs. Falken ST115 vs. Falken ZE512???

Just run a 225, problem solved.

Falken ST115's. Tires.com still carries them, at least I just bought a full set of 245/35/19's like last month.

does anyone have experience with BOTH Nankang NSII and ST115?

had st115 on my G35.  tires are uber small.  loved them.  got nankangs on my current setup.  tire guy told me it took him 2.5 hours and 3 guys to get them to sit,  160 bucks later.  I say st115 FTW!!  can u still get these?   ...thought these were discontinued??

A few places have old stock and apparently ST115 is not discontinued.  Some retailers are still able to source them.

NO chet.  i jus checked it out.  too bad they only make 245/35/20s but no 225/35/20.  They do make great sizes in 19z though.  gonna have to get me some 19" dailys!    I would got st115s if i were u.  awesome tire.

That's exactly what I was looking at... why do u say the 512's are the best, as opposed to the ST115 for my purposes (I need a narrow tire with decent aspect ratio for the street)? I also read that the ST115 has horrible treadwear on eopinions?

I have ST115.  My gf runs ZE512 right now.  I've run both models in the past.

The treadwear on the ZE512 is better.  They lasted a lot longer than ST115.  Of course you have to go ST115 if you want 19"+ sizes.

valuable info. thanks! I will be looking at the 18's so both would be possible... 512's are about $40 cheaper per set, and as u said, they last longer.  As long as they both stretch the same and run similarly narrow, I think I will go with the 512's! :)

Okay, let me ask a question...

People have been saying "stretch nicely" and to me that's an ambiguous phrase. What does "stretch nicely" mean? Is it a shape in which the tire stretches? what's a nice stretch in relation to a bad stretch?

I need something more substantive than "stretches nicely"

The FK452 "stretches nicely" too apparently. So does the Federal SS595, but those tires run large.

so I'm looking for a tire that runs narrow.
 Basically I'll be running a 215/35/19 so bumping down a size isn't an option. Narrowest tire I've personally experienced was Delinte D7 but I've bubbled the inners on those.  Same for Lexanitires Stretched great, but experienced a blow out on two different occasions. Both ran smaller than Achilles for reference. Nankang ns20 runs smaller than Achilles but has a tall sidewall. 
Can anyone say first hand which brand/model runs the smallEST?

I dindt like the way nankanks stretched, they didn thave that nice smooth transition between tread and sidewall, rather looked like this                 than what i prefer:
