Spacers or New Wheels
Ok Si have a 95 SC400 which is my Track/Drift car, but more than that it's my daily slash gonna have some show/clean (vip) styles mixed in there. As it goes right now I'm have a set of Vertex Fenders which are going on the car, along with a Veilside Exe Rear/Sides/Spoiler. And, I'm trying to figure out if I should should order a set of new wheels or just put spacers on current setup. Right now I'm running CCW SP500 18x8.5F and 18x11.5R, w/ Tein Basics. What i was thinking partly was that i could order 2 new front wheels from CCW 18x9.5/10 and spacer the rear. Or I could order a new Set of Wheels from CCW 19x9.5F and 19x11.5R, I've also looked at some Works Meisters SPs, and the KFs 18/19s. CCW said it wouldn't be to hard for them they just need the specs. For everything to cut the wheels, If anyone can give me some help on this it would be kool, ie Spacer size, chamber etc.
Also before anyone says this:
Yes I know it's crazy to try and mix these styles and it's not an easy thing to pull off. That's why I'm asking for some help on this, I've had my SC for 2yrs now and have changed my mnd some many times. Because I want it done right the first time. So please just keep the "Your car can't be VIP" comments to a minimum. Hence i said "Styles"
Here a side pic of my SC

If you want vip style wheels, then get some vip style wheels. ccw's are not. they can be, but most of their wheels are too 'sporty' for vip style.
IMO you should look into getting some better coilovers, such as Tein FLEX, rather than blow out your basics which you will do pretty soon if you ride any lower.
The wheels you have now look to be pretty high offset, which, even with spacers, won't look that good.
Your best bet is to keep those as track wheels, and get some better fitting wheels for 'show' and 'daily driving' as you say.

I plan on getting some Tein FLEX, I have them on my GS300.

not really sure how I feel about an sc as a track car. takes too much to make it a decent handling car @ the track compared to readily available options. The rims listed arent really 'VIPish' (is that a word? :) ) but im guessing you just want rims as flush as possible?
Are you going to run stock quarters? rolled?pulled? you can fit just about anything you want, depending on the work youre willing to do. :giggity:

Running stock quaters but plan on having to some work to them. I know the wheels mentioned aren't fitting into the vip-class. That's why I'm looking for options. And the SC aint that bad of a car to put out on the track, once you get used to how it likes to throw itself around. It's not going to be tracked for much longer I'm currently building the motor for my 2jz, 86 track/drift car.

If you have the opportunity to get new wheels, might as well. Then you have two sets. The more the merrier!

Well Vertex says the fenders are 25mm wider than stock what size spacer should i go with, I'm looking at going the spacer route for the current moment i have the $$ wheels I'm just hella picky when it comes down to stuff like that.

imo, if you're just waiting for the right set of wheels to come along for you, then whether you choose spacers or not depends mostly on how long you figure you'll be waiting to find wheels. If you expect that it will take a long time but really can't stand being a bit sunk, just do spacers. Otherwise I wouldn't bother.
