HAHA!  Having as much body work know how that I do, I would purchase a replica kit for my Q anyday and save the dollars and make it fit perfectly.  Fiberglass is soooo easy to work with.

Hell, even when I get my Aimgain kit, it will be completely custom done.... at least the front bumper.

What's sad is, many people will buy these knockoffs but they won't care about the fitment, gaps everywhere and poor build quality.

WOW Mike had I known you'd have taken it this seriously I wouldn't have bothered! All I can say is thanks for at least not locking the thread. Good to see people are THAT HARSH towards knock offs, and if you are willing to ban someone for it, then that's even better.

But like I said, I wasn't aiming anything at you and I never thought you were condoning the product. I know you're not like that. I just had to remove the link if you know what I mean. I hate freaking knockoffs!!! I hope they catch the company that copied that kit and hang them from their toe nails!!! And for the person that buys this you better know that it would be hella easy to spot a fake JP kit because as you know the JP kits have a special plaque on each of their body pieces easily visible to the eye, what next JP kits on a Honda?

man i love/hate ebay. i love when you get something cool that you really wanted for a great deal. i HATE all the vendors that are out there selling crap and fakes just to make .50. now i'm going to throw on my fake air forces and jump in my jp kitted hyundai s type...

Although I agree w/ everyone, replicas aren't necessarily always of poor quaility. It is crappy that they exist, but I agree it is the way of things. PPL are attracted to the concept of more for less. I'm sure some peeps on the forum are flossin' but alot of us don't throw 3k-5k into a kit to ride low collecting road shrapnel.. IMO it doesn't justify the purchasing of these knock-offs, but it does explain the mentality. I just wanna provide some obvious insight to the issue. (2 cents)

OR you could buy an OEM bumper for a bit less, and make your own custom front bumper. Like I said, that rear bumper looks a lot like my stock one. The side skirts probably just square out the stock ones, and bam, you've got a 'kit'.

funny how you folks are hatting on knock offs but don't hate on any car that wants to be VIP/ styled these days..YOu fellas need to keep more consistant with what VIP  really is about! ...Funny thing is in Japan they sell knock offs all day on Yahoo Japan..Now I am not saying that I promote knock offs just funny how some folks except certain things and then turn around and dont except other things.....:shrug:

i was thinking the same thing yesterday. i have a buddy who i met when i was over on nasioc who lives in japan. he has a celsior hes building and mentioned a lot of people buy knockoffs over there bc they modify the shit out of them anyway. no point in paying top dollar when youre going to butcher it anyway. or they even daily their car and its less of a headache. i guess its all perspective... or social status/bragging rights. id never rock fake clothes or let my girl rock a fake purse so i can relate in that respect. i understand vsc's concern of name dropping knockoffs due to vendors selling similar/identical products at a marked up price due to authenticity, but i dont see why the general public is so ANTI towards it. ive seen knockoffs that were better quialty than its counterpart in many instances. i dont condone it, i just want to understand peoples mindset. kinda like when i was at weksos meet i saw a guy pull up in a hatch with brides/spoon/mugen parts but rockin some fake bapes. :smiley-rofl:
