man does anybody else agree with me on this: f50 and y34 are ugly as s**t until you mod them, then they are the sexiest things on earth. maybe its just me. anyways, looks like you got some experience under your belt. look forward to seeing the result.

im from Washington, currently attending CWU 3hrs from my house so i only get to work on cars on the weekend, as well as fit in hanging out with the girlfriend and etc.
Does Universal Air make a kit for the F50? I looked on there site and they don't have a complete kit for one. Is there any other companies that make air suspension kits for F50's?
thanks

I was the first F50 to try universal. Great quality but lets just say You dont want to go with universal on the F50. Lots of fabrication (cutting/wlding) went into making it work. Install time took about 2 weeks on a shop that has been bagging all models and makes for over 10 years. The stock struts crapped out on me in one day. But then again you dont have the sport package and your struts are different so I cant tell you for sure.

Stock struts crapped out on you? What did u do then? Did you buy factory stock struts again? I have the sport model too with the adjustable dampening. I didn't know you had to modify so much. What did you have to modify? The only thing that I saw that you might have to do is cut the old perch and put a collar so the bag sit correctly.

I didnt want to run into the risk of it happening again so I went a different route. Plus I didnt like the fact that I couldnt go much lower. Im on a custom strut bag setup now.

is there any other options other than air runner? i really don't want to spend $4700 on the kit, how bad is the universal air? Does ur car lay frame at full decompression? cause i would like mine to lay frame

Theres also Bold world which is even more then air runner but will get you lower then air runner. Universal left the car far from laying frame. The only thing im using from universal is the vlair compressors, 5 gallon tank, lines and the switch box. You can always do coilovers but those will run you atleast 2g's as well

fuck thats some serious wideness. hit it up with camber like a mofo and do a little pull. flip up the grill with something more flush that doesnt sit in, and then tint and it will be mint!

You have/have had some SICK cars. Very good taste demonstrated in all of them. Nice work on everything.
How the hell does one go about making wheels fit in that situation??? Custom sheetmetal flares?

There was a guy on here that was having a hard time getting coilovers. Not sure if he ever got them but you can try the vendors. Japan Yahoo also has them. Find a link and foward it to that vendor who is willing to ship parts from japan yahoo
I heard the Insurance and job design ones were really good and help keep the car feel like it still has some luxury to it. They are both pricey though. Good luck
