Few new pics

No new mods, matter of fact, I subtracted a few mods. Im spoiler-less and I went back to the stock tails. I thought Id take some final pics before my ride goes through a make over. enjoy
 
 
P.s. I know the plate looks like its going to fall lol. Im 80% done with my custom plate holder but until then, theres only one screw holding the plate. Dont ask why because I cant think of a answer.

Love the F50 bro, the One & only finest Q45 (of that model) in states.

I was never a fan of the smoked tails.  I was pissed when they came in the mail pitch black but I put them on anyway.  People around here actually liked the smoked tails better but its my car and I think the stock tails look better.  They are going to stay on the car for about 1 month tops.  Im putting the 05 stock LED tails on there and im going to cut the trunk and bumper to make them fit.

Looks really good man. I love when US built cars look like they just came out of a VIPCAR mag. I cant think of one thing id change on that car.

Damn pimpin car! Love the F50. One of my favorite cars.  Looks real clean.  I like side mirrors.  Cant wait to see the make over complete.

You already know what I think about the tails..hehe.  Might want to clean the Vaseline off the lens next time..j/k!!  Love your car as usual.

I didnt notice that until I got home.  Chances are I wont get another opertunity to stand in the middle of busy NYC streets to take pics (nor do I want to put my wheels through that hell again) so the dirty lens pics will have to do lol.
 
Thanks guys.  As far as mods go, im keeping them a secret since im still thinking of ways to get them done properly.  The only mod I will mention is that im molding the inner trunk peice to the trunk (no visable lines) and im putting LED tails that will require me to cut the trunk and bumper to make them sit flush.

I say just by the rear tails and trunk and foget about the cutting and shaving..Maybe you can find those parts at a salvage yard or online..THink by the time you do all the body work and buy the corner tails you might be looking at the same price...either way I love the rear end of the 05 Q45 you are on the right track.

Figure about 2000 05-06 Q's sold (I think it was less), What are the chances of one being seen at a junk yard? Until recently, it was difficult to even find Y33 parts on online junk yards let alone a car thats 2 years old and sold much less. Only place I have ever seen the USDM 05 trunk was on Japan yahoo (what an irony lol) And I have been searching for a while on online junk yards and on ebay. I dont like the chrome trim on the bottom of the 05 trunk and I hate the trunk lights, thats another reason im keeping my 02-04 trunk and it also will give it a custom touch. I think the LED trunk lights makes the rear look like an M35/45. I dont have anything against the M but you know, u wouldnt want people to compare ur Y33 to a I30.
 
I already got the tails coming in so thats not the problem and im doing the body work myself, only thing the body shop is going to do is cut the trunk about 1-2' each side and the bumper like one inch or less. Theres nothing behind the part of the trunk that I need cut so its not a difficult job. I also got a used set of 05 tails for about 20% of the dealer price so I will use the money I saved to make them fit.
 
At the end, its all the little details that make VIP cars what they are

I like the stock tails a lot more.  I wouldn't even bother with the inner lights on the 05+ Q45.  Makes it look more like a G35 sedan from the rear.

I feel the same way.  I never said I was putting those on my trunk.  Im just molding the inner trunk peice to the trunk and changing the tails

Oh I see.  I read again and I see you hate the trunk lights :)

Thanks Yea the roads suck, im always getting flats and my exhaust has like a million holes in it. Sounds like I got an aftermarket exhaust.  Gotta get that taken care of soon even though I like the sound lol

I was following a Y50 M35X on my way home earlier today any I was thinking "wow those M35/45 sure are skinny cars." No one ever mistaken my car for a G or M being enormous as they are.

Thanks alot.  Well the car has been in the shop.  Fitting the 05 tails is a much harder task then I thought it would be so im letting the body shop take car of it.  The quarter panels have to be modified as well as the trunk and bumper.

I keep looking at this car.....
 
a pro photoshoot is a must on this monster of a ride. I bet it drops jaws.

Thanks.  Im sure you are used to the jaw drops yourself.  I get alot of thumbs up and pics taken but im kind of used to it now.  Its actually annoying sometimes.  One night I was speeding alittle then all of a sudden I see sirens so I pulled over thinking it was police but it was just a kid taking pics lol.
