yeah pancakes! is right...the cygnus from aimgain is sick...but i prefer the new Vlene kit for the F50.  The Cygnus front bumper is too crazy. lol.

:ughdown:  no new wheels or air yet. nearly broke from.. (dvd system,interior design,bodykit,paint/bodywork fenders) still got some 20x9 hereborrani's that im putting back on for now until i get weds to fill the fenders.

either going easy street or bold world. not a fan of air runner id only get it if it was deals.

dont you guys think the new aimgain line is somewhat of a ripoff of modeparfume? with the front and rear winkers with the little indentation connecting the rears. i do kind of like it though. i like how its all led. 

i thought my kit came with the led vertical parking clearance lights too but apparently its an option.:pat: 
also the foglights i ordered are pretty cheesy. probably gonna return them for the stylish projector series (they also looks cheap on my friends MP y33) :shrug:  oh well i guess they dont make good foglights lol.:signdammit:

I'm not feeling that Aimgain kit.  Very busy on the rear.

Part of me likes the new aimgain but another part feels its cheesey and too much is going on.  Kind of makes it more tuner-ish then luxury imo.

do these kits come with the chrome moldings or do you have to source the stock JDM bumper moldings?

cause i cant get that low with it. also their manual pushpin design is too old school id need full digital with the 8 solenoids n whatnot, but i hear of leaks and other problems. i need one touch ride height and all of that since i get in and out of my car a lot i cant be messin with paddles and psi.
im not that against air runner just for the price id expect a little more. only thing stopping me from ordering bold world this minute is they have no US support and that sort of scares me. downtime could be months if something happens.

mine didnt come with them but my importer is calling them tomorrow because im pretty sure its supposed to come with it. they rushed out my kit cause i wanted it airmailed as soon as my exhaust was done. so hopefully they just forgot it, if not the chrome moldings probably cost like 800-1000 bucks. my jaguar cost around there for new trim. each piece is 100-200 bucks lol

LOL I was thinking of doing it but I just sold my extra gatling gun projectors a month ago.  Its too big for the front bumper IMO.  I might go with a pair of audi A4 projectors since they are small and I can line 2 of them up with out over doing it kind of like the benz brabus kits.
 
Go with the LS 430 projectors.  They are real bright and would flow better with that bumper.

nice. i thought of doing dual h3 projectors from hidplanet since those are the cheapest but they kind of look it. i cant drop too much bills on my fogs yet :sad:  need other things still. quality paintjobs in hawaii cost as much as new scions for some reason:pat:

Dam, might be cheaper to get you car to cali and painted and shipped back.  Lighting is important, it sets cars apart from each other at night time.
 
I have the euro spec audi projectors that give a purplish flicker.  I still need to make a housing for them though.  Might not get to it until early next year.

The doors and fender moldings usually go for $350-$400.  Figure $600-$800 for the complete set

yeah, i thought of taking my car to cali for a few months. visit autofashion and some other places. there are So few shops down here that are good. and only 3 good bodyshops, which are always backed up big time. tricoat candy cost 10k+ if they do a complete spray

Candy can be expensive and its not something everyone can spray.  A quality unique paint job will set your car apart from others if they run the same kit.:biggthumpup:

ahh...I thought you had a GS when you sent me the PM...  Our chrome strip is cheaper than yours.  You'll have to go dealer probably

and yeah having any multistage aftermarket paint makes cars stick out. mine will be dark navy pearls though so its not as noticeable as say candy red

what 3 body shops are good?

i would say JL's, techone, gx auto. in that order. all the other shops either ive heard bad reviews from people i know or they do decent work but dont touch kits or mods like that. correct me if im wrong. there might be some quality shop i dont know of but so far after my research those are the only 3 id trust. and actually ive heard 1 bad and 3 good reviews for gx auto so im a little iffy. shops that dont speak english dont even count to me so leave out the korean and chinese shops. (ive had 2 bad experiences..namely basic auto which my insurance told me is their premier mercedes repair/body shop. i had 3 new scratches and a dent on my roof AFTER they completed their work. not to mention one of my doors bubbled and flaked and the corners of the hood of my jaguar. they refused to admit fault and i ended up having to hire a third party professional which was the owner of european autotech since he previously worked on my car.. that was the only was i could resolve it)

any comments on the abovementioned or any other shops i left out? im always open to new shops. gotta at least check them out n see whats the deals.

oh oh i forgot earl scheib. i heard they do bomb ass work for dirt cheap prices :smiley-rofl: jk

i forgot to mention that the chrome trim does NOT come with the kit, for those that were still wondering. i found out the other day and ordered it along with the front winker markers which also werent included lol. a lot of people told me they come with the kit in the past but i guess not.

Tech1 FTW. I've seen WAY too many cars come out of GX all messed up because the owner didn't like the guy. But anyway tech1! I have a personal family body shop who does all my work but i've seen tech1's work and its nice.

too bad JL doesnt want to do it. he told me that hes trying to stay away from custom jobs these days... insurance jobs is where more money is at.... but if he was to do your kit....... maybe if/when i work for him again, when he gets a bigger shop, we'll be doing those types of jobs again.... but he's got a car there now thatll blow everyones mind....

yeah, i wish i could go to joel. tech1 lost a worker so i got pushed back farther :pat:  6 months and counting. i wish i knew this in advance. i would have bought my bodykit later and bought air and maybe drop down to 19's instead. ughh.

Yea I hear you.  Makes you go nuts but its best not to rush anything.  It sucks to put on an unpainted kit, takes away from the look that your going for (even if its a short period of time).  How about putting on the exhaust now and welding it on later after you put the kit on?

i know what you mean about not rushing things. 
but i cant install my exhaust with the stock bumper since the MP bumper is 3 inches lower than stock. so the exhaust has a downward angled pipe and would look like its floating below my bumper :signdammit:    oh well i guess ill just finish up my interior and suspension before i dick with the exterior.

any update on these pics man? im getting impatient. hahaha

oh..well i posted that its going to be awhile..so dont wait around for pics lol. at this point i have no idea when my cars going in the shop. going for a slight color change and fender flares so even after it goes into the shop it will be a month or more. ill give updates when there are any.  
i wish i could fly down a painter and have access to a paintbooth. id take a stab at fitting my own kit n bodyworking the spoilers and all that. :sad:   i need to learn this stuff! i dont like depending on others.
