so i picked up some wheels for my 430...

I know it isn't the traditional vip type wheel.  ...figured i'd step out of the norm.  also, got a really good deal on these.  lemme know what you think.

I would love to see some better pics of the car. I think if you lowered the car another two inches you would be on point. VIP or not on the wheels the car is looking hot.

meh, im not feeling it at all.   LS430s arent meant for "race" style wheels.  Meisters belong on a 350z or G35 coupe.

hehe...sorry guys, this was meant to be a joke.  Forgot to put that at the end of the post.  But yeah, its funny that u said that racinstyles...this actually is from my friend's G35 coupe.  and i was just borrowing it to test fit.  Just to see clearance issues and how much roll n pull I would need for the wheels i do have on order.  anways, the fronts could go lower becuz they are 8.5" in the front.  the rears are 10.5" and the tires are 275/30's...so they sat on the fender pretty nice.  guess I gots alot of pulling to do.  I'm definately gonna do some tire stretching and camber.

dunno if the fender lining has anything to do w/ the wheel stopping there....or is it other issues.  but that's as low as it can go.  sorry...don't have any other pics. This was done one night only.  :D

If you had the money I would say go w/ the Garson deep racing in that same color but I know that would be hella expensive!

I like it, it's more casual than the usual Vip styling fare, but still a classy enough look.
Honestly, probably one of my favourite uses of one of my least favourite wheels, to date.

useful thread even though it was all a joke. i had been trying to decide between this style wheel (ssr) and gold face wheels. gold looks ok, but i think i'll go for black or sbc.

Get wheels around the same offset or lower, and you will be all good :thumb:

to those who didn't read my second post...these are not my rims. I was just using them to test fit and play around w/ offsets.  but im glad it gave people an idea of what gold looks like on a black vip platform car...which i guess is rarely seen. ...especially w/ a non traditional vip wheel.  sorry...don't have anymore pics cuz it was only mounted that night and taken out 20 minutes after.

Yep, I still have some left on this roll.  (I'll have more later too, but most likely not till late January.)

BTW, our next AHVM will be after the holidays as most people have said they'll be too busy in the coming month which is understandable.  We still might have a small gathering anyhow though just for kix.  If you're interested I'll pm you the details or call you when we decide something..otherwise look for the next AHVM most likely towards the end of January.
