G50 and Heated side view mirrors? O_O

Or am I just that slow. Never knew the side view (door) mirrors were heated til this morning I turned on the defroster and went to wipe them off and they were STEAMING! I LOVE THIS CAR!:biggthumpup:

Yeah but The 1989/90 G50 had them I mean that is pretty damn good for such an old vehicle.

the g50 was designed very well.

It also has automatic roll down front windows, hold the unlock key on the remote and it rolls down as far as you want until you release :) They don't roll up though lol

waaaaaaaaaaaait. The mirrros are heated? Man I never knew that . Does anyone have the manual for l94 q45? I bet theres other stuff I dint even know about

yup those are heated....if you turn your knob to adjust your mirrors to the passenger side then put the car in reverse they will automatically tilt so you dont curb your rims..then when u go in drive they will readjust on there own.

So you have to have your adjuster knob turned to the left? Or do the Y33s dont got this option?

This is what i love about my car, i always find some type of option. My fave is where your steering wheel moved up and your seat moves back when you pull the key out, then return to your original position when you put the key back in.

I believe they come on with your rear window defrost. My 98 Maxima is like that. My 93 Max had a seperate switch for the defrost/heat element for the mirrors built into the mirror adjuster switch.

Yeah its a show off feature and sometimes an annoying one. There have been a few times I've gone out to my car at work and the windows are already down. You'd think that Nissan would have made that option defeatable by now but I've also done the same thing with my 08 Altima. The car dont even have a key but still they just wont make it defeatable or at least able to put them back up from the remote. I put a window row up module on my 98 max so i can put them back up and just ordered a leather case for Altimas remote since I really never take it out my pocket dont even need it to open the doors.

In my '92, the heated mirrors have a button on the switch. It's a smallish button that has an orange LED when active.

I think the oldest luxury cars come with this feature. I think Cressidas came with it too. Sometimes I get into an econocar and see what I've taken for granted. I love the little luxury features like this.

I tried it and nothing happened. haha

put the car in park turn the knob to the right(as you would adjust the passenger mirror) and then put the car in reverse. it should work then. you have a g50 1994-1996 q45 correct? i have a q45t you have to take that into consideration also. dont kno if it works on the q45a.

Oh, i was wondering if that option worked for the Y33 also. i have a 98 Q45t. haha

yup its a great feature...too bad it didnt help my grandmother today(shes only 59 lol) when she was driving my car and managed to curb 3 of my 4 wheels. well u live and learn...just gotta hit the rim shop before the coilovers come in.
