Suede Headliner Question

Okay guys so I have a 1997 Y33 Q45 and I'm going the suede headliner.  Now my interior is the light tan and I have white JP neck pillows on order and will most likely be getting white curtains (thanks Zion :D).  

Now my headliner and pillars will all be wrapped in the suede.  I can't figure out if I want to do the OEM creamish color. Or if I should do just a flat out white.

White is going to get dirty...tan will be less dirty.

I agree that white would get dirty....but it would be so pimp to intro that much white into the tan interior. Plus it will  make the curtains and neck pillows make that much more sense.  I say white it out......heck maybe down the road you throw some additional white accents in....White and tan would be nice.

white headliner, but maybe the cream pillars, so the seatbelt plastics will still match.  if not that i would do all cream suede.  cuz mismatching plastics would bug me.

Yeah, do white. So it stands out and people will notice its suede rather then blend in and hide with the rest of the interior. Cause alot of people dont notice the headliner first.

Would even be pretty pimp if you threw some pillar lights that changes colors to reflect off the white headliner.

Maybe this will help you make up your mind.....at first I was like no way all white unless you do more white like seat inserts or carpets....but after doing the chop it kinda looks PIMP.....its a hard one for me to decide..so here this should help you.

The white contrast looks real extreme...I would go tan suede, ppl will want to touch it, trust me they touch! Besides IMO I perfer to pimp in plain site rather than go extreme to make a statement. I like being practical w/ mods and ppl notice the details on there own.:shrug:

zion, just for me you mind doing the same and keep the pillars front and back the oem color.  I think that the white is pretty pimp but a little overpowering

I'm in the process right now...I can't get the back pillars off though haha.

If you bring a little white into the lower part of the interior it will be sweet!!!  Ass loads of scotch guard will be your friend by the way.  Also a suede brush....GL

i'm gonna say oem match. yeah the white looks cool, but no it does not flow. to me a suede headliner is better as a subtle detail. but checkin out that ps makes me think one of you guys needs to do an all white inertior.

i would do the all white and do the pillars like in the PS.
 
you can change the door inserts later, and maybe do a suede insert on middle portion of the seats.

White reflects too much light. Blinding light!!!

Suede is ordered..should be here anyday so I can get started!  I went with white BTW.  Should be BALLIN haha

are you talking about real Suede or syntetic? 
 
becuase there is huge differance.

I'm going to go with microsuede.  It's supposed to be a lot easier to clean and the white is going to get dirty.  If I don't like the way it turns out...rip it out and try something new.

how much was it? a write up would be good.

My original headliner is dirty from the previous owner and I was wondering if I could get this done buy a upholstery shop.

I got it done awhile back.  It turned out really good for someone with ZERO clue on what they were doing.  It's really hard and there are some mess ups but the second go around i'm sure i'll do MUCH better.  I learned a ton haha.
