the digital controller was molded into where the tape deck was, it looks better in person, i will take a better pic too much flash. whats cool as the tape deck had the brain for the bose stereo dan was able to fit that behind the controller using the stock mounting points.

Interesting setup!
What kind of compressors is bold world using?
Do you have a picture of the actual compressor mounting?
What kind of valves are in the kit?
Does the compressor make your car vibrate?
How loud are the compressors from the outside of the car?
Yeah...I'm curious hah

they use either viar or thomas, the base kit comes with one thomas. Its not that loud, but you can hear it outside and inside the car. its like a hummmm sound. However it doesnt vibrate the inside of the car at all. No i dont have pics of the compressor mounting. Bold World uses an air box which is interesting so all the valving etc is hidden in the box. The digital controller also has a stand alone brain which uses a complex system to measure psi and ride height. if you check my other pic thread i have pics of everything pre install.

Damn, looking sweeeeet!
That strut looks so similar to the Y33 setup... Must have been a good design if Nissan are still using it :)
so what does it ride like?

I am very happy with the ride quality, it is only a slight downgrade on stock quality. The lower you go the better it gets. It handles pot holes and bumps nearly as well as the stock set up, but it is less forgiving. It transmits bumps through the cabin, much more than stock, so it is a little more harsh. However it passes the female driver / occupant test, and thats all that matters. I would like to ride in a car with air runner or UAS for comparison purposes, that would be interesting.

thanks man, how is your ride coming? Also I hope to have fitment nearly as extreme as yours in a couple years. The wheels im putting on the ride right now are mild in comparison to yours.

Ive made a few changes here and there to my ride. Right now, im concentrating on underbody mods. No need to rush anything since im building the car for myself. Im concentrating on clearance that way I can save money down the line on future repairs that I would have to make like o2 sensors, oil pans, etc.
Im glad you got this done, I was begining to think you got rid of the system or the car. Cant wait to see which wheels you choose.

no way i love my car! I just am super busy at work and life, so my car takes a back seat sometimes. Plus i am really carefull about who works on my car. So it takes along time for me to get parts from my floor and onto the car. I think garage magical has skid plates for our cars to protect vital parts while driving looooow.

got any better pictures of the rear? Is the bag and strut all in one? Reason I ask is because the rear the spring and shock are seperate from each other. Does this setup eliminate the use of the spring and just use a bag over strut?

i will try to get a better picture, but there is no spring. the bags sit on a plate that fits in the area they had to trim. in the picture you see the strut just hanging there, under it is where the bag assembly bolts on.
