I keep running over $#(^ in the road!

Ok, so in the last 10 days I have run over a gimungous chunk of salt from a salt truck, and then to top it off, I ran over a fucking COAL SHOVEL! I repeat, a god-damned shovel laying in the road blade-first AND at night, so I barely even saw it before it was too late!!!:saiyancrunks:

The damn thing bit into the paint real nice on my TTE lip, and since it was like 10 degrees outside the impact fucking broke all four of the tabs off of my fogs!

I'm so tired of driving around here, I swear I'm either returning to the 808 for vacation time again and shipping my car down OR just stop driving it all together:sad: I had my hood and front bumper and quarters repainted 5 times in the last 3 years. AND my wheels are all bent to shit. I can feel them.

Anyone feel my pain???

My front isn't low, but frozen chunks of road slush often hit my undercarriage, and I scrape 90% of the times I pull into my yard.

I know what you mean. It is a real chore especially when your car is a daily. That's why I leave my slight blemishes alone. I know if I get it fixed then it'll come back. :pat:

It happens. I always keep a few car lengths from the car in front of me so i can avoid stuff that's in the road and be able to watch the road clearly without having to make that last second hit or miss it decision.

I do the same. Things arent always so visible though, even when no one is in front of you, like in my case. So when made to choose between hitting something or doing a 65mph 360 on the highway, the choice is easy. I swear my next mod is an LS430 or Q45 projector retro for my headlights.:giggity:

So true. My last hood re-shoot I got hit with a rubber bungee strap (with metal hooks) 3 days after.

Worst part is I have a 96 Jeep cherokee as a beater, I just hate driving it on the highway.

Yep, I feel ya pain!! Was driving back from an Autofashion meet and hit a dead animal on a the freeway. Shattered my whole front lip and it has been a few months. I ordered a new one and it should arrive anytime now. Now its Pain in the ass, going to have it painted and clear bra'd again.

It's unfortunate that it happened to you , but I'm glad you are ok.

5 years ago i was driving my 97 accord on 95 south to Rhode Island. the car was on about a 4 inch drop. i ran into what seemed like a baby deer or wolf/dog/e.t.c.that was laying dead in he highway. i hit it doing about 90. for some reason the front of the car actually went over the animal, only denting the bumper but it put a 3 inch deep dent in the floor panel under my feet!. the worse part was smlling the nasty decaying buning flesh smell for a month as the skn that was torn off the animal burned and melted to my exhaust EEEEW!!

A squished 4L milk jug got stuck under my car. I lol'd but it was still frustrating getting out and yanking it out of the control arm.
