a33 help
hey im tyler from wi and i recently purchased my new car(1997 infinti I30t) with intentions of having a vip styled car. im now on to the wheel part and im wondering if anyone out there has suggestions or experience on offsets for my car, im looking at a 19'' rim the 3 i've seemed to like so far are mae crown jewels, SSR vienna kreis, or a rim with no lip like carlsons. ill type up more details later about the build but for now id like to get my rim selection out of the way.
thanks tyler
by the way ive been searching but very few results for my chassis

whats up bro. don't worry so much about searching on this site, its not that kinda party over here (you will probably never get told to search). if your car is a 97 its an a32. theres a couple guys, including myself, who are building a32s.
heres a pic of my test fit 9.5 +35mm on the rear (8.5 front):
i'm assuming the kreis are the ones that look like the mae. i've never been a fan of that style but they do get big love. afaik they are discontinued so expect to have to hunt them down. before you buy your wheels i would think about stance first though. because of the solid rear beam you can only be so low or so flush or wheels so big. ie. big flush rims with a mild drop, big rims tucked, or small flush rims with an extreme drop. it all has to do with the lack of negative camber on our cars. i'll probably end up selling my flush 19" to buy some flush 17-18" and lay out.

with what you are saying 18's will sit a little better to go with to drop lower later

if you are just going to do a spring drop 19"s should be fine. i would recommend sprint springs for a good 2" drop. tein s-techs drop a little more but are on the soft side so the ride won't be as good. if you can deal with that though the s-tech do look the best.

i used to drive a 350z so im pretty sure the s techs would be better then what im used to

its not that they're harsh, its that they're too soft for the low drop so they get bouncy.

if you can call it a gallery. basically my car is stripped down to the frame right now and getting completely rebuilt.
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2975304
or check out "a32 build pics" in the nissan/infiniti section.
for springs the maxima are the same thing, as is the case with 95% of parts. the only differences are the front/rear sheet metal.
