ls400 fender rolling

ive searched but info is kinda vauge.  the info ive got is that ls400 rear fenders are 4 layers thick and are easyer to cut then roll but then ive read to roll the fenders and dont cut them. im kinda confused which do i do  roll or cut   i have a fender roller and i cut off wheel   
 
let me know if you have done either and your results

If you shave them it'll mess with the structural integrity of the fender. A fender roller and a heatgun plus a little (lot) of effort should roll them no problem. What size tires are you running the rear?

just cut it!!! no harm whatsoever..more stress on the fender visually when rolling (if done incorrectly)

That's what I've told too... Shave or cut is best unless you gonna run a really aggressive set up then you have to do some pulling too

those 45 series on a 19? kinda thick huh? Cutting or rolling seems to depend on the vehicle. as i understand, for lexus the general consensus seems to b cutting or cut then pull if needed

I vote for cutting unless you're a professional. There's a high chance of creasing the fender.

Im suprised so many people recommend cutting on an ls400, I rolled my fenders because im not into losing structural integrity. but ill let you be the judge, heres some food for thought.

Ive had cut, rolled, and pulled fenders. Cut if you want it to look stock, roll/pull if youre trying to fit aggressive wheels. Paint doesnt chip so much when you cut. For thin metal on front fenders I just hammer with the rounded part of a craftsmen 1/2in drive ratchet.

BTW, ive never seen a car with cut fenders and structure issues, not saying its not possible though. I suppose its all in the technique.

my dads an o.g. autobody man hes gonna make sure i dont mess anything up but im rollin g35 rims beacuse i hit  somthing on the freeway and bent 2 stock rims  the g35s are temperary till my eurolines come in but they rub hella bad

rolling is always better then cutting if you have the time/patience.

ima do it today after work ill post pics and end the debate once and for all

that black ls400 is nice ,i cant wait untill i get my LS lookin right.
