Did a little video editting.....

I'm trying to learn how to use Abode Premiere and I thought it would be a cool idea to make a short VIP clip.

I'm actually waiting on a good deal for a semi-pro video recorder. As soon as I have that I'll try to make a video of everybody ;)

that vid is pretty darn neat for your experiments wow 10x better then something i could pull off oh well you shoud future stuff. :coolsmiley:

i did a film (on to 2N fwy!) on my MR2t my bro was running 100mph on my sister's X3, camera focused on the speedometer, then goes to the side mirror-MR2 blinking it's h.lights, then (we had a 2-way radio) i started saying "base this is "maverick" requesting for a fly-bye"...from TOP GUN movie. by this time X3 is running 60mph, as i pass by u could here the long swoooooooosh from the bov!!! :smitten:

clips to work from. V8_Aristo, do you have any links to VIP videos I can download in wmv/real format? I have some in an MP4 format that I downloaded a while ago from a members post here on this site, and After
Effects dosen't like that file type too much(slows down editing process and rendering SEVERLY), and Premeire won't even read it. I tried doing a search, but I only got a few pages. Thank you, sir!

the 2nd black LS is insane.

I think that they are Japanese cars which is why it's so hard to get video of them. I would love to make a VIP mix but I need so stock film to toy around with!

it would be cool if us video guys got the same raw data and made our own VIP vids, we could keep them short in length (one standard song) it would be a good way to see what others are doing, anyone down????

I actually wanted to learn video editting since I believe this is a good form or free marketing/advertising. It also lets you be creative with the clips and music that you choose. Since more and more people are getting broadband and internet providing free video hosting, I think this form of media reaches a lot of people internationally. In my opinion, video also adds a different dimension to the viewer.

The video that I used came from the VIPcar magazine. I wish I had more, but that's all I have. I ripped it to mpeg and will give you guys a link as soon as I upload it. If you guys have other videos to share, please leave a link.

I'm use to track editting since I've been using Acid DJ to make remixes, so it hasn't been too much of a learning experience. I'm still trying to figure out all the functions, but that will all come in time. I specially like how it shows all the transitions in little icons, that's cool 8)

It's been about 3 weeks since I started messing with it and it's been fun. I just wished I had my own clips and tracks so I can make something really original.
