No offence but i've never understood why people like those wheels... is it because they have a JP name on them?? IMO they are pretty ugly especially how the spoke curves. yuck. They look like something hoeziegen would make...

I like most of the Weds............ Im asked alot "What are the BEST for VIP?" Id have to say Weds are the most popular, these guys over here drooooooooool over. 

Its goes back when they Made Only Up To 18" and everyone wanted Vienna Dish............. To this day its still one of my favorite

yes they did, thats why i picked them to do it, they even had a pic of the weds i wanted on their website! The owner Vick told me that he could get them for me. So i sent him a bank draft. But when it came time to deliver he kept stalling. Then asked me if i wanted some Volks. I was pissed. He acted like he didnt know what was on his shipments from Japan, like it was random ::). He said yeah some weds came but not yours for like three months. I think i was nice about it, but it ended up going badly. But that was really a long time ago 4+ years, who knows how they are now. But they perma lost my money.

I love Expands but they don't seem to flow with that s14? I'm not quite sure why.

Weds side is so slow for me too. I love LXZ but I settled on Weds Cereberus II in chrome. Just waiting for them to arrive.

weds' site is faster now... but still slow compared to others...
I've always considered super star wheels up there in the top 5 best quality japanese-made wheels also.. it's also amazing how many options you have to customize them when you order them new... kinda weird and sad that konig is currently their official US distributor, cuz i haven't seen konig do much to push them over here

expands are a weird wheel... in the "right" fitment they are amazingly beautiful, but sometimes they can look really weird and trite...

is that a personal attack? just messin :). i mean, personally, i think the wheel fits an s14 quite well, but it just might seem wierd because its not everyday that someone opts for a set of wheels that cost 4k on a car that cost 18k.... 

and i was kinda like, .... hmmm, they'll look right wth Vertex Aero, and we'll see :fingers crossed:

The "truck motor" is a KA24E motor, my motor is a Ka24de (dohc versus sohc) ... so yeah, i have a turbo KA, it makes good hp. 6-10k... <--- is that what i bought for? or what i could sell for.? I didnt really see it like that, he's just targetting the hate, which we get alot of on this forum. He didnt try to justify the looks of the car nor the purchase, just stated some facts about the engine. If his car looks anywhere near as nice as that black one, i think he would be justified in being happy with his car! :)

I know a few people who dont want to post here because of the hate shown to cars that dont quite fit the 'vip look'. I know we dont have to show love for everything that gets posted, but what about that saying "if you dont have anything nice to say..."?

Dominik, i agree with alot of what you said, i thought i got away from alot of the "childish forums" so that i could chat with people who were a little more gorwn up, hence why i thought this site would be that way, and though its better than alot... still...

and yes, i am willing to sell them, hit me up with an offer...

It will be interesting to see how they look on your S14.  I like other VIP styled cars. Once they are cleaned up and better pics are taken I'm sure they will look better.

expands actually are one of my fave wheels... was going to order a set in 20s (i personally prefer them in 19+ diameters) in semi-aggressive fitment for my Q before I got the WEDs (with maybe too aggressive fitment) instead. but i personally still think they're a wheel that can look weird sometimes... hard to explain, but it's just one of those inexplicable gut feelings

I agree with you about the expands, on some cars and fitments they are one of the best looking wheels, like on that celsior on the VIP car dvd.. But on some cars they look very suspect.

I got my 1st gen work vs-xx there for only $700! (18x8 +38 5/4 114.3 w/o tires). They have the new gen version w/ way lower offsets and wider setups..

When I first saw these wheels back in 01 I just wanted them cause of the 5 spoke, and the pearl like finish it had.  Back then, I admit, I had NO clue what Junction Produce was and to be frank with it, didn't care at the time.  I just didn't want to run what everyone else had on their GS back in the day.

but man, seeing all these wheels makes me feel that I need to get rid of my Scara OZs and move on.  So many nice wheels I could use again.
