For those running 215/35/19's

I was thinking of running 215/35/19's and 225/35/19's on my 19x9.5/10 wheels. Anyone have pics of this? And also, how easy is it to break the bead on a stretch like that? I do a lot of daily driving, and my 225/235's are holding fine but now I wanna step down a tire size. Ive searched around for pics but havent had any luck on those exact sizes.

This is a 225/35 on a 9" but this tire runs small, so if you get a true tire expect it to be about the same in 215/35, if a little less stretch than shown here...

This is my presumption, someone with the actual setup will be able to tell you more.

i will be running 225/35/19 on my 10's also.i told my friends that and they think im stupid and crazy.non of my friends are in to VIP so they dont understand the concept of stretching them.and how are kumhos?are they a good choice for stretching?

215/35 on a 9.5 is a tight fit.

that is definitely gon be a tight fit. i wouldn't recommend it for daily.  i'm  running a  225/35/19 on a 9. moderate stretch so i can only imagine how much of a stretch it would for 215 on a 9.5.

i had 215 falkins452 on my 9.5 rim strecth out really nice...and 225 on my 10 rim. but i wouldnt recommend for daily driving. once you hit a pot hole there goes your tire or maybe your rim.
i would also had to buy new tires cause every time i hit a pot hole a bubble would form on the side wall. so i just up my front to 225/35 on my 9.5...

one of our car is on this tire and wheel size, 1995 215 1910 225 daily driven. no problems here, tire brand is general uhp. his previous set is sold to someone else not even as aggressive as the current one, curb and bent in about 2-3 months. i guess driver's skills play a small part too.

Bee, the 215's are gonna look REALLY tiny sitting in the fender wells of the LS, why are you thinking of dropping a size?  I'd say stick with the 225/235 set-up you have now since there shouldn't be any rubbing issues.

I was thinking about dropping tire size because of the rubbing with my daily driving, but I decided to get airbags (im actually looking at all the accessories for it right now haha) so I think I'll be keeping my tire size as it is. Plus with the added risk of bending my wheels or breaking the beads, I'd rather not drop tire sizes anymore.

Good call, if you think 225 on a 9.5 is bad at bending wheels a 215 would make it even worse.  The airbags are the best way to go, keep those wheels safe :P
