Cadillac CTS? I know its not VIP

Okay. Its not a VIP platform car but  I hate the DUB style. Give me some ideas and thoughts on what to do with my CTS. Dont be to hard on me. I really like this car:biggthumpup: I have been considering a black roof, staggered 18s, lowering springs or air ride, 30% tint........Anything else??Ideas?? Thanks for the help

Jus don't think you can put a fusa and curtains in your car and call it VIP that's jus trendy stuff! (Yes I know I have that in mine...... :pat:)

I agree with 19s or even 20s, unless you like to drive LLLOOOWW. 
 
Should look nice though, its a fat looking car!

I personally really like this car.  I'd love to see someone step up and attempt to pull it off!  Break the barriers IMO just like some of the Euros I see creepin!

Get an air suspension bro.. then get 19s.  but make sure the lip of the wheel is kissing the fender then its gonna be the shit!

Slam it, and some CTS-V touches -- not the badging of course, but V grille and other things like that.

I wanted to but my wife is 4'11'' and the CTS is to big for her. I am looking at getting a CTS-V for a weekend toy, 400HP.

Don't paint the roof, just have someons vinyl it.  Can CTS-V wheels be had cheap used?

Painting the roof wont cost anything. I work at a body shop. The CTS-V wheels are 6 lug to my 5 but there is a guy on Ebay who sells knock-off V wheels in 5 lug. I have been thinking of a set of WEDS or Work wheels with a mild lip. Keep the ideas coming. I want to get this going in a couple weeks. I just Emailed Universal Air Suspensions on setting up a kit for me. I think with 18s I will be able to lay it down flat and some of the aero kits are to Fast& Furious for me. Specter werkes makes some nice enhancement parts I like. Thanks

18s will only look good if they are really wide! I/E 11+
Also will probably need I radiuse your fenders to pull it off! 
 
CTSs are huge so your better off getting 19-20s

i like it! i was gonna do an older deville but i got screwed buying pars to rebuild the engine. i had the 4.9 an got the crank pistons and rods from something else i dont know what but they werent right.
i think it would look go with a lip kit too. and maybe get a plate relocater and take off the center plate thing and a chrome grille would be hot too.

Okay just an update. Ordering my suspension from Universal Air Suspensiontomorrow. What are your thoughts? I have read good things about them. I also recieved new custom made all clear fog/driving light lenses and clear side markers. Gives the front end a clean look. Next step Wheels??

I'm not a fan of UAS, I would have gone airrunner but it's your money and hopefully it works out for you! :biggthumpup:
 
Did you get the basic setup or did you upgrade your struts??

I looked and Airrunner doesnt have a kit for my car. I have seen an airrunner kit in person and was impressed but big $$. The wheels in your sig, very nice! How much and what size

They're 20X9 20X10 +5 offset all around

i know this thread is super old, but I just joined and I happen to own a CTS which I have tried to turn it into somewhat of a VIP styled car, but it isnt slammed so I hope you can still get some ideas for your car. (if your still looking for them)

I am bringing this back after all these years!  I have the suspension done and it is way low and I am not on air?! I built everything myself, modifying different parts from different cars. I also have a stainless mesh grille, upper and lower and 20% tint. NOW I need help with the wheels. I want something that flows with the lines of the car. I also want WIDE. I am not afraid to chop this car up. I do it for a living. I am keeping the pearl white paint but respraying the whole car. I want this done and finished after all these years nobody has tried the CTS. AJO713 I have seen your car before Look nice!
