These are all very nice...

Who knew a hyundai sonata could be that badass. Korea is holding it down for Vip styled cars, giving Malaysia a run for the money.

Feelin' the Azera and the Sonatas. That Daewoo Leganza is surprisingly clean too.

Damn, that sonata is sick. 
Atleast most of them have their fitment game in check, most of the rides are all flush.

I'm speechless right now........ WOW...... my sister's got a sonata....... hehehehehehheheheeeeeee=)

WOW the azera and sonata are insane! i agree i will never look away from another hyundai with out remembering this thread.

only one that catches my eye really is the 'new chairman'   with a custom headlight smoke and retrofit that car could have somethin goin on.

on the whole they all do have good fitment though i must say.    ...but even with all the fitment in the world i cant like that xg n a few others. look like toyotas on drugs.

we say we don't anymore but im sure that deep in out hearts that some of us still do because of what japan had done to korea long time ago...

however, that does not mean that the korean and japanese car manufacturers are not working together. back in the days kia used to work with mazda and hyundai used to work with toyota and mitsubishi. the reason that samsung sm5 looks like i30/maxima is because samsung auto is partly owned by renault which owns part of nissan.

damn... When I was there last year all I saw was neon painted cars with mass amounts of leds slapped anywhere they could. That was Yeosu, Busan and Seoul from what I saw.

Nice set of cars. Great examples of vip styled cars.

Even though they're not VIP platform cars, they pull it off very nicely. Even that shitty Leganza looks decent. This is because they focus on stance and fitment.

No way you would have seen nasty cars (as you describe) in Seoul. Maybe in Busan, Yeosu, and/or Ouijambu but not in Seoul. I used to live in Seoul from 1995-1999, HanDong District, and these kinds of VIPstyled Hyundai Sonatas were already around. My aunt had one that my uncle spruced up VIPstyle.
 
Korea also has VIPstyled Mercedes, Lexus, and Infiniti's but they don't really roam around as freely, as those are usually the more 'elite' folk and they have their own places to hang and their own crews. From what I've noticed, after visiting both Japan and living in Korea, they are so much alike in many ways (autos, technology, etc.) which I'm sure is because they share (or steal) ideas from eachother here and there, however, there is still an "understood" tension between both Japan and Korea. *shrug*

when i was working for a Hyundai dealership,i cant believe im saying this............:slap:i thought the Azera was a pretty cool car.besides the fact it was a Hyundai.it was pretty luxurious.leather interior,electric rear window curtains,wood grain all over,auto adjust side mirrors.and it could do burn outs very easy.
