Oh god... why do they insist on taking photos at dusk when the light just highlights the fact that they are up so high? (hmmm, light highlights the height, err.. anyway) I have a pic on my other computer of a Legend/RL whatever done in the same light with the same ridiculous wheel sizing...
not my cup of tea (chrome n the design)..what size is that 21"?
No offense but that Car is seriously ugly. Those rims are huge did u have to like put a lift kit to get them on i mean its hideous. No where close to vip.

Stay on topic people....... I guess that's where the "dub" thing is going, since they can't afford the baller cars, they put it on anything that moves. What's next.... 22s on a Cobalt? :P
lol sorry this is big in miami, atl, in the south though people call them dunks, bubbles, boxes rides and dub mag writes about this all the time.. its when you take a classic car, put a lift kit and get the biggest rims you can find on there... now heres where we shift off this is the trend thats going and people do like it but, for gawds sake people to it too classics dont do it to luxury cars jeez theres a fine line between classy and nasty...
Why pay $45,000+ dollars on a beautiful new RL and spoil it with a set of tastlessly large bling rings? Uugh I feel nauseous... :P
Hey Carlson is back...
True true... This scene is going to be bigger than the VIP scene. No doubt. My reason for stating this is because that's all people see on TV. Look at any dirty south vid from Houston, Atlanta, Miami. They're all about this look. It really is fascinating to think that people like this look. From a financial standpoint...it's cheap. From a business standpoint...shitty rims make bigger margin than specialized rims. The market that looks for big wheels do not care about the cost...all they care about is diameter and chrome. But yes...it WILL and has surpassed the VIP scene. Chris
lol sorry this is big in miami, atl, in the south though people call them dunks
but the tl's not a dunk, as dunks are chevy's produced from 1969-1976, give or take a few years. ;)
From a business standpoint...shitty rims make bigger margin than specialized rims.
i moved back to cali from atlanta in june, and had been in atlanta for 5 years. it's interesting to see the difference of average/everyday cars here and there. i think one could make/write an interesting book about these differences and thoughts as to why they exist.
I personally enjoy all the "whips" on the Chamillionaire video, "Turn It Up". Chris

Pretty horrible is my thought on the Ac at first I didnt even know what it was its funny how a certain wheels and ride height can make a car look cheap and classless at the same time.
