Did your wife check that? I'm just asking because i have a couple of corrections i think you could make, but if she already checked it my suggestions will probably be completely wrong, and i would just be making a fool of myself. Hahaha

hahahaha i know i don't have the japanese language pack installed on my work computer so this looks funny as heel with a bunch of little boxes and ish hahahahahahha If it's put on the home page wouldn't that help? hahahahahaha just a thought!

Yeah My wife did check through it but I am sure she is not that versed in writing guides or technical stuff. I'll have her look over your revisions unless you have somebody who can do it. Just for the grammar portions. I would like to see more Japanese members be active here, I think it could clear alot of assumptions.

I think there has always been that wanting of "Japanese" VIP members but since there is such a lack of English ability it could never happen. Most I have spoken with through mixi and carview.jp seem interested but due to lack of English it's to much of a pain to try.

They should just look at the pictures just like we do with their magazines :smiley-rofl:

I think it would be badass if we had some Japanese members on the forum.  They could help out a lot with translations , and give us thier imput and ideas.  I wanna see how they compare us to the scene in Japan.  I know we are nowhere close, but id just like to hear some suggestions on what we need to do to step up our game.

Personally I think it will lead to more problems because then more folks will want to follow what the Japanese guys say....."Well such and such says/said this is VIP"

Don't trip Oscar, the n00bs are locked up in the beginner forum. You read what they are talking about? Same stuff we were talking about last year, year before, all about labeling what is vip, and what style vip, etc etc.

I think most of us here would be able to 'take' the input from other members that are in Japan. 

Although I think that unless they have a way to translate the site into Japanese, or unless they are versed in written English well enough to understand the slang, they won't be able to communicate very well. It would be an interesting idea though, to have them frequent this site.  

I do know that Japanese students are required to learn english, but I think I remember Dom saying something about how they learn it just well enough to pass their exams, so that's not going to help much. Maybe, just maybe, they'll start floating over though.

Who knows, we could be teaching them english, and them teaching us Japanese at the same time! lol. 

Also, if more members frequent the site that DON'T speak English well, I do suggest that we all start typing in CORRECT Grammatical english, as a courtesy to others. 

It's hard enough to learn english, learning the slangs are a whole new feat.

it would be cool maybe you folks could link alta vista to the forum...thats were I go for my translations....

Im sure they would be interested based off of the fact that we are trying to emulate their style but honestly, they would get bored and leave after a week.  Most of the cars here rook the same because people are too caught up with guidelines.  :shrug:

I think it's a good idea, as been said before they could give good suggestions. Dose it mean we have to follow the suggestion... no, but we can learn.:biggthumpup:
