I'm all the way in Minnesota. But the car meets here are like civics and focus's and what not, plus they are BIG haters. So I gotta drive in order to be with my people. I always seem to drive from MN to CA and back twice a year, I enjoy it. Considering the drop and respray I'll probably ship it over instead of driving it.

May 24th should give me enough time for my Garson seats to be made and installed, and my front lip to show up, I put a hold on my mercedes to get the GS done right away. I have Tien's in my living room, side skirts and door caps will be here monday, Fabulous grill is in my closet, fenders, mirrors, spoilers all need to be installed, car needs a respray, black suede for interior will be here next week, I already converted all the lights to pure white LED's, I have a set of Sherlock Society wheels already (though they are my daily wheels) and Sherlock Society exhaust comes out in a month or 2 so i'll have that as well. I think thats about it... hopefully I can get it all together for May 24th. I've made a few friends here on VSC and it seems almost everyone is in CA so this is the meet to be at!

I'm excited to meet everybody. There's seriously no one here thats into the style besides Aaron from Top Hat Customs (who will be riding shotgun with me for this trip) and to really enjoy the hobby you have to SEE stuff in person and SHOW people what you've done. Here in Minnesota if someone saw a Garsoned out GS with black and tan interior they'd be like "oh neat, it has suede" :slap:

James (bippu pxrlex) is from like fairfield, which is outta mine and brandicus' way. 

I think we'll be rolling through dublin and scoop up brandon, and 'caravan' out to wherever to meet up. I do believe that we go through SJ to get to San Mateo, I've only been there a couple times though so the route is hazy.

We don't even know yet. I could go where ever works best. We are going to be in San Diego and LA on the 21st-23rd so we were just going to drive to wherever on the 23rd then wake up the next morning and drive to the meet. Maybe we could meet up in dublin?

Andy, Jackson, Brandon, the maxima guy, myself, and whoever else coming out from the valley should all meet up in Dublin, quick meet and roll out to what, the San Mateo meeting spot or what? Should we meet up in the early morning so we can all roll in as a big group? If we all meet  up in San Mateo by 10:30ish, we could roll in as a big group.. This sounds good to me...Lets all get this organized early, anybody who needs to get the day off, do it now! :dance:

Way to go from BIGGEST MEET EVARRRR to let's make a parking lot meet that's so small you can walk around and see all the cars in 2 minutes.

I say we do our own thing, because if we were to ALL show up like we plan to, we'd shut out the meet.
 
The toy drive was different, and only 4-6 of us showed up anyways. CL showed up and they easily took up almost half the show. The rest was mostly the honda crowd....bleh...I'm not really down to go to this if it's going to be small...

Junior. I think most of them are like this because the first time it was planned there was going to be a bbq and a shitload of cars. I was disappointed myself because I was looking forward to this being at Coyote Point. The event is just down the street but if my guys choose to do their own thing then im with them.

I feel it is kind of a let down to go from be promoted as the Largest NorCal meet to a regular small meet.  That last meet for the toy drive was pretty small, was it not? If this is the same place, it's pretty small. The NorCal VSC crew has gotten pretty big since that time. We all know how big Honda-Tech is in norcal, we all know how big CL is in NorCal too. We've even got members coming from SoCal because this meet was supposed to be a super huge one....I'm not trying to bash, it's just a let down for the meet to be held in a smaller place now, when it was hyped up to be at a huge place. bleh, i'll still come out and chill with vsc, here there, anywhere, car, no car whatever.

Let's go any ways!!! I'll be there!!! I enjoy the JDM Theory carshows!!! That's why I go to them and Show!!!!! My car may not be a top show car ( I'm not emplying that others don't ) but I enjoy the people and the cars!!!! I'd rep. for VSC IF I HAD A STICKER!!!! LOLOLOL!!!!! ( I still do anyway's!!!! ) Hope to see you guy's there!!!  I'll be bringing hamburger buns and hotdog buns!!!

WE WENT TO COYOTE POINT AND SAW SCATTERED PARKING LOTS WITH A MAX OF ABOUT 40-50 PER LOT. NOT ONLY THAT BUT DISTANCE BETWEEN THE LOTS WAS MORE THAN 100 YARDS EACH. LET ALONE THEBBQ PITS AND AND BATHROOMS WHERE ALSO SCATTERED.

ALL LOTS WERE GOING TO BE USED UP BY GENERAL PUBLIC FOR MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND BBQ'S. SO OUR MEET WANS'T REALLY FOR SURE THERE TO BEGIN WITH, JUST A THOUGHT......THEY(SAN MATEO REGIONAL COUNTY PARKS) DIDNT APPROVE OUR PERMIT AND SUGGESTED WE DO NOT DO A MEET THERE AS SMPD AND RANGERS MIGHT KICK US OUT.

My answer he is giving back to the community unlike other people. Mad props for having our back and sticking w/ the "Original J's Events" - Much love for you there bro, beef between the two of us? There's NONE. Where ever did you hear that? Either way, the place is nice and big. Enough for again 250 cars in the lot and plenty of street parking for visitors. We are not letting random cars wanting to just look at the meet park in the lot, only cars that want to park and show off are gonna be allowed in the school. This should help filter visitors and participants.

JUST ARRIVE EARLY (11am) TO GET YOUR SPOTS AND TELL THE GATE STAFF (boys basketball team players) That you are hear to park and show, not visit. VIsitors park on the outside streets and not in the lot.

My suggestions is that James or Steve block off spaces for those coming a later on like Rene (aristo93) and Shane (ShaneC). The place isn't that big and it will fill up quick because I know a couple of local crews coming up. This is going to be a good one compared to last time. Wow looks like alot of fun you guys. Too bad I couldn't make it. Things just didn't work out in the end, plus I got distracted with my other project (the 126) and there was no way to get back home when we needed. We are going to try to make at least one of these meets. Glad to see you had an awesome turn out.
