sessions LS 460 Build Up

i don't have time to take any pic...but like title said i will be building sessions LS460. and have about 4 other cars that i'm building for sessions. aero and brakes it will be by sessions, but may put some JP aero parts.  air runner, what you guys think about wheels? and what size should i go. 20,21,22.....

19's 20's max

On a big car like the LS460 nothing smaller than 21 or 22..

dont go 19s. looks too small for the car.  try 20s.  id look perfect.  cheaper tires too.

21 or 22's. 19's is gonna look like it 13's on that big ass car :smiley:

I suggest 22's. Maybe really dubbish but fits that big body.

the ls460 definitely needs 22" as it is in the same size range as the bmw 7 series.

Here's a ls460 from Platinum Motorcar VIP running 22" VIP modular with -7 camber. Pretty sick, No bags, it's on custom JIC coilovers.

Yeah that LS460 is a good example of how 22's would look. Or you can also refer to the Airrunner LS460. He is also tuckin 22's.

do they make the euroline dh in 21" or 22" or a similar style wheel? i bet that would look amazing... even if it is a common wheel.

thanks man, that means a lot. coming from you. you have been doing it big here in hawaii too. you are like the grand fathers of VIP here in hawaii. i'm new to the VIP, i got learn a lot about VIP when i was in japan this year with sessions or Kenji Yamada he has open a lot doors for me in Japan. i just wish that we can all just come together. but for as the ls460, i just have to thank parents and the people at lexus, the GM and friends and family at lexus. they give me a super good deal on it, i just could not pass up on. so if anyone in hawaii need a car at lexus plz let me know......i will be more then happy to talk to the GM for you.

Im not a  "grandfather" I just try to do my best to replicate the style I fell in love with from japan thats been around forever already. I didn't really feel like I did anything big yet, I just had a ls with rims, air, and kit with some JP acessories. Goodluck with your project.

+1 for the 21's.  I think that 22's give off the "Dub" look.  Plus think of the size of rubber you would have to run with 22's.  With the roads here in Hawaii as bad as they are I say the more "cushion" you got the better.

Looking forward in seeing this project come together.

i see, it was my girlfriend driving it. cause she colud not drive my GS. but it's all stock now! now she get's the GS and now i get to drive my LS.....thanks man. but your two cars are pimp man...

i still have not had the time with taking the pic... right now i'm taking to JP too, i may all go JP.... don't know. JP wheels and KIT. but i'm taking to them as we speak. and just letting some of the hawaii heads JP maybe here on NOVEMBER time. so if you are [B]Building [/B]your car get it done. JP wants to meet all the VIP heads.... and vipcars maybe here with JP..... i will let you guys know.

Id say 21s!!!. 22s look a little too big. living in vegas has its advantages on how people size the wheels to the cars. when they put like 23s or 24 on some cars it just dont look right. i think to keep it balanced and right 21s all the way. just sucks cause the tire size and price will suck. good luck bruddah. i wish i was back in hawaii to see it. i love that LS460. a ton of them are running around here and i just DROUL!!!!haha

NICE!!! I love the back of the LS460!!! looks sick with the exhaust tips contoured to the rear bumper. Is that the LS 460L?? i always have a hard time decifering it cause its such a minor detail that i cant pin point it. but thats a sick ride bro. i wish i had the $70+gs to dish out for that!!!

We got like none in Hawaii for some reason.  There weren't any L's here.  Brian got really lucky to get the combo he got (color wise), it should look great when he gets it all together.

Serious?? man that sucks. the only reason i can tell is when i follow them they have the emblem in the back haha. if not its really hard to tell. i think if im not mistaking a lot of the LS460s here are really low.. do they come with a height adjustment option?? i forgot i saw the list of options and i just could not believe how much you can actually do to a car haha. but man that sucks. i know the L start off around 90gs or so. but hey either one is nice. keep us updated on the progress!!!

I say 22s since it is a big car and it can pull them off. All depends on the style too.

Just please get better offsets...IF you decide to do that.

right now i have 2 kits, it's going to sessions or junction produce... lip kit. i'm thinking doing this year run jp and and then the next year run sessions. and maybe jp full bumper kit, that is going out soon. or maybe a full bumper mode parfume kit later in time...

thanks man! well still have alot work to do. now for kit, muffler, brakes for the car is next. well the kit and muffler will be in hawaii about end of june. brakes could be sometime next year.... maybe this year. and then if i have money left over, the 600HL headlights.......

my favorite body style is still the 95-97 models though...i'm more into the boxy look...similar to the w140 benz's...

i'll have to say my favorite of all time is the ucf30 mc, but i can honestly say, yours is the first one that is making this generation grow on me.

I think the black/polish Heritage would have looked better on the car.  The silver makes the spokes look too chunky, and possibly smaller than they are.  Good job anyway :biggthumpup:

Nah.  20's look WAY more proportional than 21's.  22's look ridiculous.

20's make the car look lower when it's dropped.  It always seems to look jacked up on 21's--even when it's slammed.

I'd rather see a car go over the top w/ width/dish/lip of a wheel rather than big diameter.  LEave that for the DUB 300c's of the world.  Something to be said for keeping everything in proportion.  Besides, it's still  a +2 fitting.
