yay! put in new footwork and rims! y33
hey guys,
i'm sure some of you have seen my threads asking for help in these fora. here's the result:
so those are work euroline n's from grant in 19x9.5 ET8 / 19x10 ET-11, with insurance coilovers from van of onetongarage and some s13/14 rear multilink pieces from peak performance.
also, does anyone know of any good alignment shops in irvine/oc?
thanks for looking!

I agree but his model Q came with the bottom's color matched to the car so hes ok for now even if he leaves it how it is. Those coilovers are not cheap, they cost as much as some peoples air setups. Props

I'm a sucker for fender touching lips like cheezy80's Q but in this instance, the car's ride height is kinda high judging from the pix, especially the rear. So I thought a kit will bring it down abit... and complete the look.

wow, thanks for all the positive comments! :)
i actually purchased the wheels thinking i could perhaps have them refinished in chrome or something, but i decided to keep them as is because i'm broke. :(
the insurance coils are really nice in build quality. they're a bit bouncy, but i'm sure it's because i have them set incorrectly. i'll be taking it to a race alignment shop to have them help me set everything up correctly.
and yes, i'll be picking up some 2000 grit and some of that meguiar's polish to buff out the headlights.
again, thanks for all the support!

Love the stance on your car, and all you need now as mentioned before is a good buffer on the headlights and you're golden.

Damn that looks gangster. I love the stance. You're around UCI right? PM me and let's meet up sometime. I can help you with those headlights too.

I run close to the same camber and replaced at 8k miles and never got a chance the flip the tires to wear the other side of them. You can easily get mileage with camber if the rest of your alignment is on point.

IMO, it looks kinda weird from the back being so high with so much camber. Can you go lower, or do you have plans for a kit?

i think i can go lower, but not enough to make a real difference. i need to pull the fender a bit more if i do. i'll probably just roll like this for a while, then decide what more i want to do.
actually, i think i have audio plans next, so we'll have to see about that kit =P

IMO I don't think he's that high! He's about the same as me!
Only difference is mine is on 20s VS his 19s and I think my rear bumper (kit) sits lower than stock
also the exhaust.....

^^Yea, but he has way more camber than you do.
There should be some sort of law that your camber should be inversely proportional to ride height lol...

i think the camber looks killer!!!!!
its hard to make this forum happy, any less camber would be "too less", sometimes ya can't win for losing!!!haha
the car looks awesome, the color on the wheels go great with the car.

the alignment tech at autobacs muttered "i hate working on your car" to me today as he was working on it :)
he got some more negative camber from the front, so i'll be adding 10mm spacers (i hope that won't be too much -- haven't busted out the tape measure yet).
for those who want to know, the rear is right about -6* camber, on the peak performance rucas (but without the locknuts removed or otherwise modified).

Oh snaps!! We're a block away from each other... I live by Albertsons too... To top it off I also have a special anniversary model and same color but still completely stock:sad: My buddy actually lives houses away from you, he had the lexus IS with a nice stance......
Your car looks good but most cameras don't give black faced wheels justice... I bet it really stands out in person!!

3 weeks??? JESUS do you slide around every corner or drive at 95 down the freeway? hahaha. I went 2 months at -8 in the back with horrible toe and maybe only went through 30-40% of tread life.

no, ive been working on my accord wagon the past few months, august show is coming up and the only thing im concerned is getting the car lower. so i will be purchasing camber plates for the front sometime soon. im curious to see how low the back can go seeing as my coilover perches are cranked all the way up. dont want my car sagging in the back though so ill wait till the front is lower
