You need the headlights, hood, hood latch, hood struts, fenders, bumper, grill. Might be cheaper trading your car in for an 04 lol

That would of helped lol.
No one has done it. Im sure some modification would have to be done.
What I would do is get the Crown front end, test it out. If it doesnt fit then the best way to do it would be to cut up your stock fenders and the crown fenders and weld them together and have the shop make the body lines so they look OEM. Same with the hood if needed.
You most likely need the radiator support too. Good luck, I hope you go through with it

Ya i want to put that front end on the front of a US LS430 and use the same front bumper that is in that picture and also use the matching LS kit for the rest of the car. Also the usuall agressive wheels and tire combo on air. I'm surprised no one has gone thru with this yet.

Its expensive shipping hoods and large items from Japan. Also when people hear "modification needed" they drop their ideas and go with something easier. It takes money and time and some people can't leave their cars at a shop for 2-4 months at a time. Thats how I see it.
Good luck, this should be so crazy if you get it done.

It's an idea i been kicking around. I need a new project since i got rid of my old one. My widebody/350HP 240 spent more time in a paintshop and/or a shop getting upgrades then in my drive or the road =P

Also shipping large parts from japan is no stranger to me. The kit I ordered for my 240 cost me 4K and took months to get here.

Good luck! No one's done it yet, lines are nice, yet it's a mixture of a GS/LS for the Crown....either or could pull it off I think.

Ya I'm asking my buddy to souce me the headlamps, grill/hood/fenders
if the car is the same width then i could prob weld two fenders together and use the oem hood and have everything in factory position. I'd prob order the front end first and pick up a cheap early 2000 LS430 if i come across a good deal.
this idea is in no way trying to top anyone here in US but more of a damn thats hot i want it!

I can see extensive filler work coming out of that conversion. That may just be the Autobody schooling I took being negative, but it looks like a stretch to me. On the bright side, it should be less extensive than your whole 240 build. :D

lol, I had this same idea about a year ago when I first started my car. Good luck on doing the converion. That front clip will run you 5-6k plus shipping. I think my quote was sumwhere in the 10,000 range for it shipped. Hood, lift support, headlights, wiring harness, core support, bumper gaurd, (mode parfume) bumper cover, fenders, fog lights, wiring harness, chrome stripping, grill, grill surround, emblem, bolt kit, and a whole bunch more.

That would be an incredible car if you got it completed. Its just going to take a good bodyshop, alot of time, money and patience. Good luck with the project. Nice S14 by the way.
