LS has been sittin for about 3 years...

Finally decided to post pics.

Well...I have had this thing for about 4 years now and it's been neglected (till recently).

Threw coilovers on it on Wednesday.  Did not do any tweaking to get the heights to my liking.  I think I will raise up the rear a bit.   It's gonna stay tucked but not that extreme.  I will be bringing the front down some more.  I did everything myself as far as painting the kit goes.  I know that the paint isnot perfect, but it's my first time.  I converted the rear bumper to a single out (passenger side) and made a turn down for the driver side.  I'm also making my exhaust...which is done.  It's a dual carbon fiber tip rear half, no muffler.

Went with all clear tails to be different.  I hate the fact that everyone has R/C/R on their LS's.  Oh and i'll prob get fogs for the front.

Had 19" Volk GT-V with better offsets, but I decided to go bigger (20") and sacrifice the offsets.

This is for the newbs out there and the guys that like to do things themselves.  I was on a limited budget in the beginning, hence the slow progress.

I'm pretty much over it...but I know I have to finish it.  Prob gonna sell it when I'm done.

Looks pretty clean to me not crazy about the front bumper or the wheels but its definitely got potential...

I think that once you dial in the suspension it will be a clean car. You are going to need some spacers to complete the look. Keep us posted.

Nice LS. Is it black or dark blue? Hard to tell in those pics... I'm not a fan of chrome rims, but those actually look great on your car. Keep up the good process on the car.

Yeah they are GT-7's.  Chrome from the factory.

It's the OEM blue.  I painted the kit with Deltron (PPG).  The match came out pretty nice.  My paint isn't faded at all so that helped.  I wasn't concerned with the lower tone matching at all.

Oh, i'm a big fan of chrome or silver poilshed.  Colored faces are played out..well not all...just black face and gun metal face.  Right now I really like the blue or red chrome faces like Alsa does.  I was contemplating that idea on this car...but i'll pass.

man nice! i love the rims.  but i think its a little to sporty for your platform. it looks better on a GS..especially mine. lol. the front bumper sticks out too far. but the sides and rear is very clean. I woundnt raise the rears. in fact id lower it.

Thanks man.  The front actually does not stick out as much as it seems.  I don't want to go any lower in the rear cause then i'll have to lower the front even more.  I like not having to worry about what to expect when i get to my destination.  Yeah...i know...air ride.  F that...i'm sellin this bitch.

I was going for the sporty look, otherwise I would have gotten Euroline DH's.  I did not go that route cause to me, that would have been like conforming to the masses.  I like the weird looks I get and differing opinions.

My platform is basically... old school lines with new school shoes.  I think i've accomplished that.

Chris, awesome bro. I'm glad to see the car FINALLY getting finished. HAHA

People, don't let the Volks fool you. I was skeptical at first when he told me he got them. However, I have seen this car's progression from the beginning and I'm the very first to admit I was wrong about the Volks. They look awesome on Chris's car in person. One of those things you just have to see for yourself.

I give Chris all the props in the world for working on his car by himself. Paint, suspension, everything was done by himself in his garage. That's something MOST if not ALL people on here can say. 

It's clean .Its not over done and its home made. I can't get enough of it. I'm going to be sad to see it get sold. But it's the right move. I just hope the next owner of this car will take care of it and appreciate the hard work Chris has put into making this car his own.

I'll hopefully finish the rear bumper this weekend.  I have a lot of sanding to do.  I've just been lazy.  Working with F/G isn't that fun after a while.  Closing up that driver side exhaust was difficult.  I also have cut outs that i'm gonna use for 6 LED's that are going to be my reverse lights.  It should look much better when the rear is on.

i dig the clear tails. it reminds me of the Celsior on the arcade, Maximum Tune. i got pretty far w/ the Celsior. then i went w/ an RX-7. but i'm glad your car is blue and not pink like the one in the game. i got sad when it turned pink.
 
if i had the money, i'd like to buy the car from you. i'm sure i'll be looking at a large transport bill though. damn, i just reminded myself of another bad thing about the South. oh well, at least 10 years from now my truck won't be rusted out =)

So I put my HID's back in.  I have McCulloch ballast's and some unknown bulbs.  No pics cause it's still way too sunny out.

Here is a pic of my final suspension height adjustment.  I think this will be the most adequate ride height.  It looks like i'll be safe going just about anywhere at this height.
