finally done with choosing bodykits ^^

sup guys. heres jus some random photos of my car finally somewhat done
haha. next step is to look for rims to go with the flares. jus to make things clear these rims were on my previous bodykit and i havent picked out the rims im gonna get yet. ><. any ideas guys?. plz share your suggestoins. :shrug:..

Just a suggestion... Spacers before airs?

nice flares, but couldnt those wheels have fit on the stock body? not dissin as i think the car looks great, im just wondering..

yea. these are my old wheels. before i got the flares. haha. havent picked out my new set of wheels yet. . but definatley gonna get some crazee offset  to go with the flares. like i said in the thread title im only done in choosing the kit im going with. lol

ah ok. well, if you need any help choosing offsets, this should help greatly: [url]http://www.vipstylecars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6056[/url] (wheel offset calculator thread). take the measurement between your current wheel and fender and use that to match it with the measurements the calculator gives you (play around with future offsets/widths to match your measurement).

out of curiosity...what sizes/offsets are on the wheels that are in the pics?

Vertex isn't VIP but I like how you pulled it off. It's the fender flares that make it work. I like wheels on there so you could run spacers. It reminds me of Insomniac's car with the Garson Deep Racing wheels.

the size of the wheels are 19x9.5   19x10.5  +19 all around.

Even with those wheels looks good IMO . but if you wider rims .. DAMN cant wait to see it on a black GS

Flares look nice.  Now you need to get a new set of wheels with some better offsets.  Then your car would be lookin really mean man.  Glad to see someone in VIP101 actually learning and doing something right!  Props on modding your fenders my friend, you are on a great start. :biggthumpup:

so.....vertex isnt vip.can someone explain why

cause its too flared out and 'sporty'. vertex gear is more drift oriented so it is aimed more towards that angle than a VIP angle.
 
not to say it isnt VIP influenced of course cause it is a VIP platform but it is more a sports angle with VIP influences, so for a classy drift car or something :P

I think he's not remembering a previous era of vip where flared aero was the standard.  The WIN aero is also very similar.  I think it looks good too with the flares...and I don't need to say spacers or wheels since you've got that in the works.  

THIS is an example of how you get out of vip101...

Cant wait to see future upgrades ..

i say play out the sporty look and hit it with some ssr sp1s or maybe even ms1s. 
 
theres no such thing as vip kits or wheels, just vip cars. do your thing.

yeh i quite like the vertex kit, just saying why i think others may have said it may not be considered as VIP. 
 
i think the flared kits work well though if you plan around it and make it work. love the flares too :)

I thank everyone for leaving me there comments. still trying to decide if i should go with new wheels or spacers. errr so hard to decide considering i really like the set of weds i got on. :pat:

Meanwhile, spacers will transform the aggresiveness look of the car. Poke it, camber it. That's gonna be nice...

Looks pretty nice. Have you considered getting barrells for your current wheels or are they not 3 piece bolted? I like those style weds.

I love the car the way it is.

 Just my 2 cents i say keep the rims you got,  add the spacers....... and when you get tired of that look you wont feel so bad about getting a new rims.  

But your car looks great!!!!! I can wait till you post up more pics...
