noob wit jag
Hey i'm from Miami Fl. I've been coming to this site since it first started but i never really owned anything in the vip styling platform just a bunch of chevy's and a mustang but recently i was able to get a free jag vp. It need work but i'll have it ready. I'm planning on paint, exhaust lowering it and some 19x10 all the way around wit 235/35 tires. Right know i'm swapping out the bugs for four eyes and the gas tank was rusted out and it needed a new fuel pump. Hope to be updating soon so keep tuned in. i'll try to post some pic when i figure out how.

I've read alot of discussion as far as what vip is on this fourm. But too me the true definition of a vip is a luxury full size sedan platform sitting as low as possible with large diameter w/ wide wheels and streched out tires. That is what i'm going to build. I'm going to build something like the red jag from j-complete maybe el presidente can post a pic seening That i can't.

sounds good. as far as i'm concerned all that "this is vip" talk needs to be deaded. time for the cars to do the talking. don't get too caught up in chasing the "vip standards" (stretched tires for example). even fitment is up in the air these days as more and more ppl are going tucked to get as low as possible without extensive fender mods. just build a ride using quality parts and a little vision and you'll get where you want to be.

Your right blackonblack98 before i start thinking about streching tires i got to get it running. The orignal owner thought the engine was blow but after i got it it turns out that the fuel pump was dead and their was a whole bunch of water in the fuel lines and gas tank. plus some of the injectors were clogged. So i flushed the fuel system, cleaned and test the injectors and got a new fuel tank waiting for me to install. And that has been my progress so far.

We were repairing a roof and the homeowner didn't have the rest of the money he owed us for the roof, which was $500.00. So he gave me the jag and called even. I havn't had a chance to install the gas tank and fuel pump cuz i've had some family problems and it's been pouring rain here the last couple of days.

I would love to see a Jag tricked out with Junction Produce and Garson. I am not a huge fan of those wheels in that photo however.

That jag is nice, doesn't it have likea 750 hp engine. a little more lip would make it look meaner. their's a red one from j-complete that has a whole lot of lip, it looks killer.

The one with the Arden motor isn't a vip car and it's that stock candy red like the J-Complete car you mentioned. Here's that Arden motor (in your same XJ40 chassis):

The red one you speak of was their first demo car:

and my favorite shot of it:

Currently the hottest Jag is Noda's from NF.STYLE:

That's Noda wearing the unusual clothes, he has an odd sense of style when it comes to the way he dresses..haha, but his car is hot. A little over the top on the interior..but it's still fresh, just nothing close to what I would do with a Jag.

lol! that interior in gnarly! Everything else is mint! Love that red Jag!

Twin turbo loos sick. But does that engine have stock internal becasue i havn't seen any kits or forged parts for the 4.0 and if thier was it's ganna cost 2 arms and a l What size rims and offset are on j-complete first demo car? they don't look like 19s they look like 18x11 and 18x9.5

Well, for starters, it's a different chassis than yours so the sizes are irrelevant. It also has processed fenders making that even more different. I never cared to look to see what they used size wise as I prefer to measure my sizes and offsets myself for best fitment since every owner has different wants and needs. And most of us process the fenders anyhow..making the be no "magical #". I think you know what I'm saying, even if you were just asking the size period..I still wanted to explain that.
As far as that motor..Arden sells it as a kit and it's freakin' expensive..but 750hp is nice.
