Guys... this ride is on coilovers. That's the ride height. Not parked height. If u guys been to KL, you'll know what I mean.
I just got a bent on my 18s driving at 25~30 miles per hour that day. Stupid Malaysian roads.
Forgot to mention it's a DD too.

No offence to any of the Malaysians here, but Malaysia is somewhat of a thirdworld country in many areas. Roads is one of them. You may think Hawaii has bad roads, but at least they are mostly decent
When i see malaysian cars this low i am amazed that they can do that without air...
Btw, very nice Maxima! Would love to see this next time i am in M'sia...

even with good roads and air its just not in the cars for a maxima/i30/cefiro to have perfect vip stance/fitment. i'm gonna get as close as i can, but theres limitations.

you and me both. i've been focusing on getting my g50 drivable so the a32 is pretty much in the hands of the shop its at right now. last i heard the gas door was getting shaved (relocating fuel cell to the trunk) and i'm tryin to get another inch or so out of the rear suspension before the rear gets tubbed and finished up.

dual purpose:
1) tank relocated so theres nothing over the axle (exhaust will end before the axle as well) for clearance.
2) looks. not the vip thing to do but i am shaving a lot of stuff.

The gas tank does not hinder the trailing arm movement right? You'll be hitting chassis 1st before the tank becomes a clearance issue. Heck you gotta really lay frame 1st?

i'm not sure what the clearance issue was, i didn't make the call on this one but i am that low (tucked 17" unradiused). i'm something like 2" from laying the floor pan in the rear (reworking to get another 1" or so, lays stock resonator now), front should lay cradle bolts (or come very close) once i take the remaining length out of the coilovers.
on top of that, i'm just a fan of shaving stuff. vip isn't the only style i'm into and once i bought a g50 it opened me up to doing some things i wouldn't have done before. that will be the straightvip build, this one is a collaboration of a bunch of styles.

Think it's better if you would post this on your build thread.
But I got a few questions here. You can only go so low as the wheel is resting on the fender. IMHO, u gotta tub 1st before worrying about scraping the fuel tank.
Furthermore, is the fuel tank the lowest part of the chassis? I'm not sure as I don't own an A32, but my car share the same rear suspension as A32 though.

all this has been posted in my build threads. he said he'd like to see it so i showed him.
the inner wheel well has been notched for tire clearance since i installed the bags. at the time i was just going to weld a filler plate but now it is going to be fully tubbed and possibly raised strut towers.
i believe the clearance issue was with the filler neck over the axle not the tank to the ground. either way it doesn't really matter, the gas door is welded up and a fuel cell will be mounted in the trunk floor in place of the spare tire well.

i love your style man!! CUSTOM!! it's the only way to go.. !
don't tripp when people dont recognize the custom kit cause its not a brand name kit..
IMO.. anyone of us here can buy a brand name kit to gain the status.. but not too many here can do or have the ballz to go custom on their own cars!
it's the way you stand out from everyone.. not look like everyone else! your style! looks great!

first if all, thanks for ur compliment and im really appreciate it. As u know,my country dun have much choices chasis to mod in VIP style, so far A32 is the best choise, the only original kits they have are Diana,Impul,Autech and Nismo. I figured out not really interested on the particular kit therefore i custom for my own. This kit really took me a long period to complete, approximately 3 months, the most headache part is the fitment and wavy..my fren really putting alot effort on tat, so far there is no complain. At last, really big thank to ur compliment and im appreciate it. Hope tat we can keep in touch, cheers!!
