i guess they did want to spread out all the winners.. thats what it seemed like.. 
 
that VIP Class was one hard class to judge!..all the cars were almost identical. there was a few that i noticed body mods in which the judges prb lover looked.. glad i wasnt judging.. 
 
Torys "benz" car was one of them.. and the black Q the one was next to mikeys old Q his fogs lights.. 
 
simple mods like this set you appart fromt he rest in VIP Class..

Yah his box is pretty damned hot.  I still need his shirt size, I owe him a shirt from his class win at the AHVM meet.

That tC [I]was[/I] pretty crazy, but the fender pull was a bit uneven from one side to the other..crazy how much they pulled it though.  Still give them props for the effort, most won't even attempt it.

WOW.... Looks like a good time had by all, Congrats to the winners.

They are nice Samson..just 3 black 3rd gens in a row makes them nearly invisible in a sea of vip.  Congrats to Sonny...he looked shocked when they called his name..haha, that was awesome..he looked so happy.  Guess we can both feel happy for that win huh?  You had a good showing, thank you for bringing out as many cars as you did.  The pull on the LS was a pleasant surprise, I bet it flushes nice at ride height...cool little headlight mod too.

Thats some pulling on that rear.  How did they get the bumper to flow like that

You guys in Hawaii just keep raising the bar.  Love it.  Crazy rear camber on that TC.

Its always like that at shows.  If you see the same car or same type of car all in a group you don't stop to look at them.

from what i was told, vip class results were:

3rd place - Sonny (vip_lexgs), GS430  team revision
2nd place - Ryan (DTR_Projekt), '04 LS430  team revision
1st place - Marc (beangrower), '02 LS430  team revision

supposedly, there was a mix up w/ sonny's name and myself (dunno how since are names don't sound alike...and our cars are different) which was only corrected after the show.

oh well...  same team so no matter.  :D

Anyways, yeah big ups to Samson for bringing in 17 cars and basically having VIP take over the show...it was an awesome sight and so great for the entire scene.  :biggthumpup:

Troy, your S is crazy sick!  Another well deserved 1st place win!

2nd place?  Fawk, I really don't think I deserve it.  I think other cars at the show was way more bad ass.

As for the Kauai Boys photo shoot?  I am down!  Lets definately send it in to the Garden Island!  =)

NP man! Im good freind with Joe that did that mod for you.. used to do hydualic installs for him at his shop back in the day.. he told me the storie on how many days he had to do that for you.. 
 
Im a huge fan of custom mods other than bolt ons.. This is what set your q apart from the others.. I guess simple things like this must be pointed out to the judges.. even though it was parked right next to what it used to look like..

yeah joe, hooked it up...he definitely made me a believer........with a lil more time one can only imagine.. was not disappointed with the results of the show...a lot of clean cars but traditional is just not my thing...definitely going with another custom look for hot import nights

how many jp kits can one stomach...custom is where its at..but thats just me

Looking forward to all the new modds" along with "new rides" which are planning to "Debut" at HIN.  Sounds like there are going to be some "great deals" on "Wheels" and "Kits" coming soon to the "For Sale" section.  Too bad none of these items will be "user friendly" for my Egg.  The "theme" for this show was "JP".......I am sure that Takatomi would be Proud.  He should come again to Hawaii.........I am sure that he will be very happy to see all the rides representing VIP Styling in the 808.

Seriously ... Hawaii is Small as hella compared to the Norcal area but .. 
 
 
when you have some sick cars all together it helps keep pushing each to do crazy things .. I think Hawaii and Texas is bigger in the Vipstyle than Cali .. IMO .. 
 
when you have a show with 3/4 Vipstyle .. its looking more an more like Japan IMO

nice rides -- love the fleet of black vip rides in the first photo

i didnt even go to the show cuz i knew i was gonna be all sick that none of my cars were in it... but now it makes me wanna finish them even more... im working on my LS at HCC where i grad autobody, i get to use the facility free of charge.... and for my G50, i got something coming it for it shortly, its gonna be so presidential.... both should be ready for the next show....
