Did you miss me?.....

Im sure you didnt...... I originally joined with the idea of doing some vip style hues to a 2006 2dr honda civic....well that changed..... Then I decided to try out vip style on a Dodge Charger. Yes I know as I have said before that neither was of a true VIP platform but nor is a 350z or a scion (no strikes at either of them).

I still have the charger and Im still interested in learning all I can from you guys and using that knowledge to mod my charger til I can later get a true VIP platform project. I know the VIP concept has been tried and somewhat excepted with the 300s but not the charger at all. But Im still wheeling to take a dive.

Again this is a great forum and Im glad to be apart of it, looking forward to learning alot.

-----I know that by me bringing a charger into the VIP house Im opening myself up to get the door slammed in my face alot when I have questions but maybe if I keep asking at least one of them will be answered and that will be my start.

------
--------
When I first joined I was stationed in AZ where alot of guys were into the VIP style but now Im in GA (Fort Gordon - Augusta)........ Are there any guys in the area who are into VIP style that maybe I can get up with.....Augusta, ATL, Savannah, any of the surrounding areas?????

Welcome back....and don't sweat the small stuff. Having the right frame of mind is very import and it appears you know what is what and what it's not.

Good attitude, There are some good examples here for you to learn from. Dont get caught up in the label, build the car how you like and Im sure it will come out clean as hell.

Yeah, be open minded and build the car to your own liking. It's your car afterall.

IMHO, coming from a non-platform as well, I'd say just take the best styling cues and impliment it on your ride. Don't worry too much on the 'categories' either.

At the end of the day, a clean build is what matter most IMHO.

i'm a non-platform advocate but i honestly can't see a charger working. not saying don't do it, just saying i can't envision it. everything looks good slammed on some nice wheels though, so you know where to start.
