S14 Sus on Y33

I finally picked up some S14 coilovers and installed the fronts this evening (in about 38 minutes). As some of you may know I did the s14 conversion on my y33 a few months ago and I've been looking for a good set of used s14 coilovers since then. My boy Amir id'd a set on monday....picked em up yesterday...and installed today. Pics are below. Sorry for the hot spots I'm trying to make sure you all can see the fender to wheel/tire distance. Also the best part is I can actually go another 3 inches lower. I'll actually lay frame before I begin to max out the shocks. I also installed JIC camber plates on the s14 coilovers. So now I can adjust camber to maximize wheel fitment. Also before you clown me about the wheels, these are temps while I wait for another set of tires to come in. Ride quality is good. BTW they are NISMO monotube coilovers.

This is by far the best mod I've ever done on any of my cars. Definitely worth the time and energy. The last couple of pics are to demonstrate the distance from the cats to the ground and the framerail to the ground.

A write up is coming for those of you who are interested.

S14 rears with nismo monotubes wound all the way up and then adjusted to allow the car to do down the drive way without ripping the cats off...

Still not low enough out back. we'll have to figure something out. S13s would be a better option out back as they are shorter than the Y33 rear shocks. The stock S14 shocks are actually longer than the stock Y33 by about 4 inches. The coilovers ended up being the same length as the stock Y33 and then we could crank it down. but need to go lower. Unfortunately the tires in the back won't let us go any lower. So once the new rubber comes I'll be in good shape.
