Think that the Exhaust will look 100 X's better and "complete" with an Aero Kit.
Still got a couple more Modds currently being "worked on" as well as awaiting delivery from some "items" in route from both Japan and America ......will post as "added" to the Egg.

Yoshi. looking great. Wow that exhaust sticks out but I'm sure it would look sweet with the kit. Have you decided what kit to go with?

Want to go "El Dorado"......there is actually one on upgarage for only $800.00.
Here is what the kit looks like...............
http://www.upgarage.com/upgarage/stock/stock.php?stocklist_detail=1&data_kubun=2&shouhin_cd=0711125001093&tenpo_id=125
http://www.upgarage.com/upgarage/gazou/0711/0711125001093/0711125001093s1.jpg
http://www.upgarage.com/upgarage/gazou/0711/0711125001093/0711125001093s2.jpg
It has a nice "Subtle Widebody" going on which would bring all of my Old School "Flavor"(Wheels & Exhaust) to "Blend" together nicely. The next headache about "IF" (Emphasis on IF) I do get the EL Dorado I would have to ditch the the Rapiers because my offset would look......gay. According to "Estima Best Style Vol 2" with this Kit I can run 19X9.5 +7 and 19X11 -7!!
The Aero is going to have to wait......unless I get a great deal on the shipping of the kit. I already have a lot on my plate...........my UAS System in being Constructed as we speak, my SilkRoad Coil-Overs are in Transit (to be combined with the UAS System), EasyStreet Digital Controller paid and order will be put in.........all this plus the monies for the Exhaust, paid additional moneis to make the exhaust not as "loud", "Replace Front Windshield"........yada, yada, yada.......much monies paid out and I still got still need to fix my "Clarion Infared" and LIDATEK repairs.
Think that I need to lay low for a little while.........but if someone can give me a great price on shipping on the Aero please drop me a line.
Mike,
It was really great hangin with you and the Wife last night. Sucks that you will be leaving to the "Big" Island......wish you and your Wife the best of luck up there. Looking forward in seeing your Jag come together.............raising the level of modding all the time.........Jag is looking good man!
You noticed the Ambers huh? Yeah I totally forgot to mention them, will probally pick up some Depo Clear Corners and have them "Sprayed Amber"......the set I have now is okay but I know that they could look so much better.

Thanks for all the compliments...........as for Color.....still haven't decided....but with my current spending spree I probally don't have to think about it......as I ain't got the funds for body/paint. Figure it is just a waste of money anyways since I don't got my aero. Figure do it all one crack.
I can't wait to see this thing "completed" also. It took my White Egg (Ver. 1) forever (3-4 years more?)to get to the stage it was when she experienced catastrophic failure. Ver. 2...........although she came out of the box running.......I have a feeling that she will be experiencing a major "slow down/stop" after my Air Set-up is completed.
I just got a Memo from UPS............I will go to pick it up tomorrow........I hope it is what I think it is. May have some "updates" tomorrow.

Yoshi,
You're way ahead of me as far as updates. Project looks good. Can you let me know what was done to tone down the exhaust? Do you have pics of where the resonator was placed? I installed my anceltion exhaust but it was too loud for my taste so I put the stock back on.

Mike,
Thanks for the offer for the photo shoot but my Egg with its many "battle scars" is so not worthy of a photo shoot with your Wagon. I got an idea........I can have you put the El Dorado Aero in your "Carry on" put it in the "Overhead Compartment" in the Plane and you can bring it home with you. Hope you guys are having fun in Japan.
Tech126,
Hit me up when you get here........I'll try to make time between the work, school, daughter, wife, yada, yada, yada........221-9253.
normandie,
If you look at the photos you will see that my "Stock Muffler" was really replaced with a "Straight Pipe and Tips". With that set up it was rediculously loud. So I decided to "add" a Muffler to help tone down the sound. Unfortunately there is not much room so it was determined that the only way that I could "re-incorporate" a Muffler was to "remove" one of my Cats (just a tab bit illegal LOL) and install the Muffler there. With my current set up it is similar in sound to the Flow Master Exhaust systems on SUV. Wish it was a tad bit softer as 5-0 is representing strong where I work.
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r285/sukoshiyoshi/CIMG2616.jpg
Notice the "Straight Pipe and Tips" as well as all the room in the rear "Cavity" for a Muffler. My space will be "filled" with my Air Sus! If there is still room I may incorporate a Small "Resonator" to additionally help with the toning down of the sound. Figure it is already "hard" to miss visually. LOL I already whacked my "Shins" on them.....happy, happy, joy, joy.
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r285/sukoshiyoshi/CIMG2622.jpg
Where the Muffler currently resides is where the 2nd Cat used to be.
Another option that you may want to entertain is installing a (Inlet/Outlet out of the same side type) Muffler in the cavity where your "Spare tire" is. As you can see in my photos I have "removed" my spare, the spare mounting brakets, heat shield for my exhaust......there is a lot of room back there(notice in the 1st pic). I was going to do so but wanted to leave enough room for my Airsus. That way you can keep both "Cats" and probally be at the sound level where I would ideally want to be.
mdenoga,
I will hit Sean up to see what kind of pricing he can get me. Thanks!
Look what came in the Mail today................... Thanks to Grant for bringing in these bad boys for me.

Looks like I will be unable to pick up this kit after all...........some major spending in a short period on my part as well as some unexpected repairs/replacements I had to make pretty much has me running low on the funds. I have one big project currently in the works and need to make sure that I can pay him for his services.
I envy the new owner of Alan's Kit.....because it is one rediculously low priced yet high quality kit (from what I can see) he is selling.

We should be done around 11 am if it all goes well. I'll give you a call when we are done to give you the keys.............and feel free to hang on to the Egg until she is done.

The set up you got for me looks so sweet.......I am so clueless when it comes to Air so I probally had a "blank" look on my face. Please don't think that I wasn't excited........just was dumb-founded and extremely impressed by it all. All I can say is WOW!
Also super excited to the "things" that we discussed tonight. I am looking forward in making that Oil Pan Guard work for its money. I am sure that the Oil Pan Guard will see a lot of use once I get the Egg back from you. Feel free to do what you need and no worries about time.........I will use my Sister's Sentra for as long as needs be.
Seeing the set up that is planned for my Egg makes me glad that I couldn't get the kit at this time..........it'll give me time to bang up my stock bumper and get used to rolling "lower". I just hope that the Oil Pan Guard can "handle" my "practice". LOL
Mike,
Thanks again for bringing in the Controller for me......how's the road trip? Wish you were still here to see the "after" Egg in person.

Marshall, I would like to see the setup of the tank, compressor and valve setup for the Previa. Did you mount it outside the car or inside?
I want to mount mine outside, and also keep my spare tire (if the spare was not there, there would be ALOT of space), buf if that was not the case, where would you mount all the components outside?
Do you also have a list of the components that your setting up for yoshi?
I would like to see if if its ok with Yoshi...he might be keeping it secret. Just making sure.
Im excited for you yoshi, too bad you cannot get that kit.

Hope you liked the comp tank and valve set up..[/QUOTE]
Marshall, I would like to see the setup of the tank, compressor and valve setup for the Previa. Did you mount it outside the car or inside?

No secrets and nothing to hide on my end.........FYI if you want to keep the spare I really don't think that there is going to be enough space back there. I would think that the only option would be ïnside". My set up is going to be öutside".......people on the öutside"can hear the roar of the compressor.....I already hear enough with my exhaust.....LOL
I am excited for myself too. LOL Its all good about the kit......it would be nice but I got to "replenish" the Bank......been spending waaaaay toooo much in a short amount of time. Besides even if I got the kit I would not have the money for body work and paint anyways. Everything happens for a reason...........I am trying to look at the bright side of things and Eight08Customs has given me MUCH to be happy about.

Thank you Yoshi.
So, if you think that there is not much space on the spare tire, and your going to install the components outside. where will it be?
The only area's that I can think of is near the catatlic converter (bolted on to the frame), or in your case, where the ex-muffler was before.
Shawn's was installed inside, but I want to still be able to carry things because I use the van alot. So, mine has to be out.
Oh, I am guessing your only going to do a F/B setup? What valves, compressors are you going to use? Or should I be asking Marshall? hehehe. I actually got a free valves and a compressor (sucky brands), but it works. I am kinda tempted to install it. I just need lines and switches and gauges and fittings and bags, and im set (hahaha..thats pretty much a whole setup).
Anyways, I hope that you or marshall could take pics of the build...I want to get some idea if its ok with you.
THank you.

I think that I must of "mis-read"your post. I thought you said that you "wanted" to keep the Spare. In the case that you keep the Spare....there will not be enough room.
I already took out my Spare and all the Brackets which holds the Spare out to make enough room for the install. Everything will be Outside and Under my ride. As for the "type of this"and "type of that"............I will let Eight08Customs answer cause I got no clue. LOL

everythng is going to be mounted under the car where the spare tire went.. but you have to cut out an reinforcement that i guess was used for the spare tire.
Sorry no pics yet of it becuase had to rework the setup becuase i had to add the other 4 valve for the air controler. Called Easy street today and i was advised that the controler will olny work with fbss.. So rightnow i have to rearange every thing..
1 vaiair comp.
4 gal tank
1/2 valves UAS..
1/4 lines..
easystreet digital controler
I havent installed anything yet becuase i normally do every thing that need to be done first and have everythign ready before i install..
Illpost pics of the install

Ahh....ok, so its yes spare or no air; hahaha! Hmm, ill have to rethink my plans.
Marshall, I had posted a question with regards to a FB setup at your thread on easystreet.
I might aswell post here, if you dont mind.
I was told that with regards to a F/B setup that there will be alot of sway or body roll due to the transfer of air from one side to another. And thats not good according to people.
With your experience, is it safe and ok to run a f/b setup (daily). Initially, I was going to do that on my previa, but people told me not to. Thats why I backed out on the project (due to funds not being there).
Thank you.
Ill rethink about that no spare tire. Reason is that on the history of the vehicle, I had to actually use the spare tire TWICE!

Sorry to make you have to "re-do" the set-up.......so I guess I will have "side to side" function huh? All I really care about is the "Auto Leak Sensor" and to have it "Automatically" fill it back to within Specs. Probally going to use the 3 "Settings"...."Full Up", "Full Down", and "Ride Height".
I just dropped of the Egg tonight. We will be working on her tomorrow Morning (Saturday)to hopefully "resolve" some issues with her. I will leave the keys with Neal and she is all yours.

Ok here are some updates withpics..
Can someone Help me? i cut all the wires to make it longer and forgot they were all black.. i dont understand why they make colored wires yet these guys that design these things used all black wires. Sorry yoshi i think i screwed it all up.. i hope i put it back in the right places.. :signdammit:
LOL JK... I had to lengthen the wire for the senders.. Dont know why easy street made all the wires long and made the sender wires so short.. I cut and added about 3 ft and soldered and heat shrinked the wire connections.. less resisitance and less chance of it comming loose with a crimp and me being chinnese but connectors cost to much. LOL ..

wired the rest of the power wired, gorund and fuse blocks and we got power!!!!!
everything on the electical side is working 100%.. all valve function properly up down.. senders all reading. compressor cycles on and off..
Now all thats needed is to tune the system and the brain to learn the car.. but untill i install the suspention side.. that will have to wait.
SO its should be free flowing from now with the install.. everything is made to bolt up just some minor cutting on the rear so the fitting clears. and cut his finders more so we can slam this egg to the pavment! tommorow i do the rear bags!!! Friday its holloween so have to take the kids go get candy. So its a day off from the van Sat ill install the fronts. wheer you taking your duaghter?
but back all the panels i took off.... Yoshi you van is a mess rightnow.. all the stuff you had in the trunk is every where.. I'll make sure to clean it up before you get the egg back.. i dont want you having to drive a scrambled egg..
Oh yea.. the front on your van.. damm its got more wires and stuffs under the dash than mikeys.. how the hell did you guys get to the bolts for the struts.. mikeys one was wide open .. passenger side had no air bags..

Damn I am just loving the progress pics. It is coming along super fast.
In response to your questions..........yeah the fronts are not fun at all. Doesn't help with all the "wiring" for my sounds and alarm on the drivers side either. Also on the Passenger side is pretty tight. Basically on the drivers side had to drop the panel, "un-screw", "un-ziptie" and "snake" the hand through to get to them 3 bolts. Even after you do all that it is still not fun. Passenger side......actually "removed" the air bag to get a little more "clearance".....once again still not fun or easy to get to. The Egg has left some permanent "battle scars" from all those tight and sharp places.
Halloween....wish I could take my daughter out Trick or Treating........I need to work from 8:30 am till 8:30 pm............I believe that she will be taking her brother and sisters around Temple Valley side. Probally be all done by the time I get out there........bum deal.....but she isn't even going to be Dressing up this year. Have fun with your Son.....what is he going to be this year?
No worries about the "Egg being scrambled"....it was super dirty when I got it to you. Just want to see that thing............I think you said it best, "slam this thing to the pavement". He he he.
Got to get back to the books.........Test on Friday, Test next Wednesday, Powerpoint Presentation Preparation, Even with having to study for Tests the Professors still assign other "projects"........not sure what I was thinking when I decided that I should go back and complete my education. To add "salt" to my pain........my Classmates are so young I probally Graduated with their Parents. LOL

I was about to say......those photos look very "familiar". LOL Got to love the fabrications skills......in the long run it is going to make life a whole lot easier when having to "service" the bags........I will forever be a "lifetime" customer of eight08customs. There are already a couple other items I am thinking about having him do for my Egg. But after working on two Eggs back to back he may never ever want to work on another Egg again........I have been told by a couple friends that if my Egg ever dies again......I will not get any help "R&R" my sounds. Not only does he has the skills to fabricate he takes it to another level with thinking about the "servicing" aspects down the future. Many would be like once its done........not my problem, or STBY. You can tell he puts a lot of logic behind his "one off" designs and workmanship.....unlike a lot of shops now a days.....he takes pride in his work. Happy to see there are people still on the "up and up".....too many "shady" businesses and peoples.....it really is a crap shoot sometimes.

oh Marshall, how tall are these brackets (upper and lower) and the diameter?
Also, the upper mounts, the bolts are on both sides? and going back a few pages, are you running the air lines to the fronts inside the car? plus the main power that is comming to the battery?
Lastly...what does your shop look like? haha...im just curious if your working at home or at a shop. Kool kool kool!
yoshi...take vids and pics ok? I cant wait! I wish I had the money to do air on my car and Egg..

Hondaboi,
I will let eight08customs answer all the technical stuff" as well as "his shop" info.
As for pics.....I think that he is doing a great job taking a lot of progress photos. Not sure if there is any other photos that I would be able to take. I can probally do a "before" and äfter" type shot but even those I think he has covered.
As for Video........I am not up to date with the "Tech" stuff and would not even know how to go about posting that kind of stuff but I am sure that some friends could help me to grant your request.

lower mount bolt was welded and bot goes through the lower perch in which there is already a hole.. this mount it had to fabricate and weld up
Upper mount..
these are the mounts that come with the USA kit.. yo have to cut an extra hole on the side so the air line can pass through it..
Assembled assmebly with airline mounted. Air line must be mounts before you install becuase there is no other way to get to it of you put it on.

with a cut off wheel on the die grinder you have to cut a section off the upper perch so that the fitting clears.. looking at the bag from the wheel well hose will be on the back side or facing the front of the car..
besides cutting an extra hole on the side of the top moount i also had to weld a tab so that it can bolt up.. this makes it serviceable.. i seen many weld it in place but has to cut off if you need to service the bags..
mount everything up and Drill the hole
Now your ready to install everything.. just bolt it all up and install hoses to vavle
Done... Bag full with air
No air

Yoshi...
i didnt mount the shocks becuase there very short.. there its good and bads to it..
you prob get a better ride with the shorter shocks.. but it wont lift high as it can lift..
I dont know if you want to use stocks becuase i dont think the ride will be much diff..
Im also guessing you want me to use the other shocks that came with the other coils overs right if you decide to use the coil over shocks..
I know your prob excited to see it down with the wheels on.. sorry but shop closees at 6 and by the time i put air in the bags for the first time and checked for leaks it was 615 and i had to clean up..
Ill porb no be able to workon the van untill sunday but for sure on moday my day off Ill prob have the rears and fronts done. than all thats needed is to clean up the wiring and close everything up and fasten hoses and tune the digital controler.

4 inch pipe... lower is 1 inch tall upper is the UAS upper mounts that are modified..
upper mounts are only bolted on the one side facing out.. in reality i seen many not welded or bolted.. like the XBs the weight of the car usally hold everythig in place.. I just like to take things upa notch for saftey.
airlines are ran throught in inside of the car.. the reason is I feel its safer and easyier..
Main power come directly from the batt and goes to a solenoid..
No shop for me. just a single stall garage at my parents house.. that how i can help people out with out the huge cost.. I just love doing this type of hobbie and like helping people out to getting there rides done right and if people can live with me taking for ever working on my own time i'll usally do the job..
but after yoshis van i have a 2nd gen xb that has to before HIN hawaii and repaint an eight08custom sponsored XB lip kit and after that no more jobs till next year..

Hondaboi,
Trust me......you are not more excited than I am with my air sus. I will be sure to take a lot of "before" and "after" photos. As for the Vid.........we'll have to wait and see on that one.
Eight08customs,
What are your thoughts about having 2700 lbs being supported only by the rear bags. Figure having the rear shocks would "lessen" the load on the bags. Also with the rear shocks I figure it would help minimize "body roll". But I figure having the rear shocks will not only prohibit my "full high" but will also affect my "full low" correct? And I know that I want to make good use of that Oil Pan Guard. Besides I really don't think that you would be able to get out of your Parents driveway with the rears shocks on huh? Don't worry about the rear shocks.....figure I can always install them if needs be in the future.
Looking forward to them photos with the wheels on....once they are "on" you will know how much "cutting" of both the Fenders and Overfenders will be correct?
Thanks again for all the "updates" as well as for your "services". Just glad that I got all my parts for my air sus when I did as well as got them to you when I did. If any later I may of had to wait till 2009 to see my Egg on the ground. LOL Both my Egg and I are very honored to be the last "major" job for 2008.
Have fun with your Son tomorrow Trick or Treating...........hope the weather holds up.......last year our Trick or Treating was cut short by the rain in Kaneohe......but then again it always rains in Kaneohe. LOL

kool...thank you marshall for explaning.
I didnt quite understand the part where you said " use the cut off wheel on the die grinder you have to cut a section off the upper perch so that the fitting clears.." I am kinda lost on where did you cut it, I cannot recognize it in the pictures. Sorry for my question.
yoshi, I think it would be safer if you just got stock shocks for the rears so that you will still have that damping fuction. But not limit you from going up...but like you said, it might limit you from going down haha...because for example, shawn's van cannot go down as much due to the shocks? Oh oh..the shocks will also hold the bag from falling off because on a stock setup the springs cannot be removed unless the shocks were disassembled...I dont know..im just concern about the safety... But what do I know haha...im a noob!
Marshall, were the same. I do car work at home too in my parents garage. I have most of the tools except for a hoist! haha, which is the next thing on my list. :)
Although I dont do it for a business, just a hobby.
keep up the good work!

the shocks arent stopping my rear going lower at all, its the axel and the frame. unless you go irs or body drop (which on unibody cars is a nightmare) you will have the same hight as me back there....i have the same short shocks in the rear as yoshi and it goes very high...

Shawn,
Thanks for jumping in a sharing your thoughts. I hope to get my Egg where the Frame and Axel will prohibit me from going any lower as well. But for that to happen there will be some serious fender/overfender cutting which needs to happen.
Couple questions for you.......do you have the Silkroad Coil-overs at the lowest setting in the back? Also do you have the Dampening at "full soft" as well? If you could add any photos of your "full up" and "full down"it would be very much appreciated. Or is that already some where on here?
How's the threadjack on my own thread......LOL

the rears i ddint mean take out the shocks.. i meant if you want to run stocks or the coiled over ones in which is short and limit the up movemnt .. the axle will bottom out on the frame anyways.. Mikeys van has stock and its at its lowest right now slammed.. Too tell you the truth your not ging ot have much up movent with the shortend shocks.. you raised the van up and you was about 3 inchins from the bumpstop from waht it looks like before that you was already riding on the bump stops.. or barely riding on it becuase its llokk like it been botteming out..
if not ill just put the short shocks on and adj as long as it will go.. the other thing why is when you raise it and it limits the travel and the bags want to go more your going to put pressure on the bushings in which will wear our faster becuase the bag want to go more but the shocks holding it back..
let me look at the other shocks that came with the new coilovers.. the teins are very short forgot about those shocks..

if not ill just put the short shocks on and adj as long as it will go.. the other thing why is when you raise it and it limits the travel and the bags want to go more your going to put pressure on the bushings in which will wear our faster becuase the bag want to go more but the shocks holding it back..
let me look at the other shocks that came with the new coilovers.. the teins are very short forgot about those shocks..

Thanks again for bringing in the Controller for me......how's the road trip? Wish you were still here to see the "after" Egg in person.

It was okay minus the fuel indicator taking a dump and causing a $1400 repair at Mercedes. Pissed me off, had it happened at home I could have bought the parts and done it myself at a fraction of the cost...but not on a road trip. It only delayed us a little over half a day. Good thing I had extra cash in the "just in case" fund.
Marshall...still impressed with your work buddy! Looks really nice. I'm having to do something similar in the front on the Jag as you did on the Egg in the rear.

eight08customs,
My bad......I miss understood......took it as no rear shocks. If you can see if the "Silkroad" rears would work with the rear it would be very much appreciated. Can you test it out to see how high I would get when "full high" on air? Figure the lowest point on my rear would be my exhaust as the air sus component sit up pretty high up in the spare tire cavity. Hopefully the Silkroads (new/used set) will be able to work for the rear........I am hoping to sell the TEIN Coil-Overs as a set once they are removed from the ride. Anyone interested in the TEINs? Let me know. I plan to put the sale to my Aero fund. LOL
As for the "bump stops" yeah I used to bottom out on those all the time......not a good feeling or sound. I even had the "dampening" set on the stiff side on the TEINS. Hopefully with air I plan not to have the "dampening" set stiff....would rather have it soft so that it will take the bumps in the road. With my TEINs set on the "stiffer" side the wheels were taking a good beating(as you have probally noticed). Would rather lighten the load on tires and allow for the shocks/struts to do their job.
I trust you......let me know what you would reccomend. I will get some stock shocks for the rears if needs be. Thanks for the clearification.
Hope you and your son had a good time Trick or Treating last night.
Mike,
Good to hear that you are enjoying the "road trip" except for the un-scheduled "pit stop". Hopefully you won't hit any more "speed bumps" while on your Road Trip.

Shawn,
Thanks for your reply.......my bump stops have also been removed to allow me to get max low. It would very much appreciated the photos as well as you dampening adjustment info when you got some time. I'll look forward to those updates. I believe that it should be pretty similar as we are both running the Silkroad/UAS Combo.
Yeah I remeber when my Egg was looking pretty grim.........infact almost went a different direction all together when my original Egg blew her Head Gasket. Glad that I stuck with the Egg.......although sometimes I wish that I got an Egg with ALL the options that I always wanted. I guess serves me right for jumping on a deal that sounded too good......turned out it was too good and my Bank account paid the price.
Sometimes it seems surreal that my Egg is where she is now and getting air on her........lucky to have some good friends as well as those I have met through my Egg (you included) that "stepped" up for me to get her where she is today.

worked on the egg for a few hours.. I was going to try to get the front done today but, didint have the upper strut brg.. becuse the teins had its own and it fit on the new set up nor i had the stocks.. I had just one stock one so i test fitted and adj everything on the fornt..
Installed the rear shocks..
THe Tiens were not adj.. but the new setup was.. It sits as low as the frame will let it go and raises to a pretty good hight to clear bumps.. IF we had stock shocks the rear would have lifted to stock hight..
notice the the shocks..
I got it to sit a liito lower than this pic..

eight08customs,
Thanks for the phone call today......Totally bummed that the fronts didn't have the pillow mounts..........I contacted Mikey and he gave me some pricing on the pillows. I also sent you a pm.......can you look over the pm? If it is not that big of a difference between getting it local and through Mikey source...I say go local.....but if the difference is quite significant....I can talk to Mikey and he can get it to Hawaii in two days.
Thanks for the updates..........the driver side wiring really looks bad huh?.............it seems to look worse in the photos. LOL It probally got worse after Progressive Auto Sounds installed my new Double Din. LOL I know that they be not happy when even I pull up........my Egg has got way too much electronics in her. I still want to "add" another camera for the front......."another toggle switch" and more wires...LOL
I am very excited to see her in person! Just curious...about how much lower were you able to get the rear? Funny how I was worried about the fenders, overfenders and my wheels was going to prohibit my "kissing pavement" but I guess the "frame" and "axel" proved to be my worse enemy....go figure.
Thanks again for everything! I know I said over the phone just go ahead an get the parts........can you check the PM that Mikey sent me? Once again if the difference isn't that big...then if you could go ahead and get them locally.
Also do you think that the Easystreet Digital can be placed "inside" the "slider" instead of "outside" as we previously agreed upon? Figure out of site.....less attention when parked. If you already mounted it then no worries......just though about it just now.

Velcro.......nice touch.........that will allow me to not have to "lean forward" to adjust my ride height. I am so lazy.......if I didn't have my remote for my sounds.......I would probally end up listening to only one station. LOL
Just got off the phone with "Da Man" and looks like the Top Pillow Mounts will be picked up locally........yet another step closer in seeing the Egg "slammed".

Time for the drum roll!!!! here are the finshed pixs..
sorry guys all four wheels are down on the ground.. but didnt get pix becuase its still in the garage becuse i have to clean up the wiring and put back the dash.. I prob have to take off the passenger side becuase it not sitting as low as the drivers side just a litto off so just got to adj the coilovers mounts.
I tunned the system today and boy what an adventure.. all the wires were labeled but guess what it was all crossed up.. and no these wasnt the wires i had to extend it was the wires to the vlaves.. I had to figure out and rewire the whole valve set up.. I figured it all out... I guess someone that puts on the labels on those wires was smoking something good that day.. LOL
SO system is tunned.. but having problems setting the ride height. might have to make a phone call to easy street. the bad thing is i work tommrow and there in a diff time zone.
got the oil pan guard on just had to tweak it a litto and grind here and there.. sits about 2 to 3 inch off the ground.. I wouldnt suggest driving it that low becuase if you hook up with the pavment its going to do more damage and prob rip some peices off the under of your van.
Also had to trim the flares so the frnt tires could tuck..

Is it just me or is the Easy Street Auto Pilot not that accurate when pressing the ride height button? Even after tuning it it would sometimes go too low then use a bunch of air to raise that corner back up and go back down. And I have to keep tapping the ride height button to get it to go to ride height because it won't do it right away.
The install looks really good! I wish mine was that clean. The custom fabrication looks top notch. I can't wait to see pictures of the entire egg laid out.

thats sort of whats its doing.. i think you supposed to use the 1/2 lines.. so it shoots up max fast and than it lowers it to the ride hight? i know it came with adaptors for the pressure sensors..
But i asked Jermey about that and he said 1/4 inch hoses shouldnt be a problem..
i'll give him a call in the AM.. to see if theres any tricks..
Yoshi Ill try my best to get this controler working for you.. but after a certain point if i cant get it working 100% its all up to you. it works fine in the manual mode.. the presets is what not going so well.. I hope to prove everyone that has some kindof digital controler worng that it can work right.. but so far i know 2 people in HAwaii with some kind of controler and all they tell me is that they cant get it working right.. Pray from me that i get it down!

I was just sitting in front of the computer for the shot of it laid out. LOL I thought that the "Clearwire" had a bad signal or something. LOL But I am lovin the shot of the clearance of the oil pan guard......and looking forward in seeing the photos of the Fronts "tucking".
Sorry to hear that you got issues with the controller.........also bummed to hear that others with the same controller are experiencing problems. I should of done more research......I didn't have a clue that this controller has "issues". Hopefully my controller is a freak of nature and does what it was supposed to do. But being that Easystreet already messed up the wiring I think my chances of that happening is next to none. The sucky thing is one of the main reasons I got this controller was because of the 3 "presets" and the "automatic sensor" which senses drop in air pressures and refills accordingly. I wanted the "ride height" setting because I was planning to get it aligned at that height. Figure got to get the most miles out of those tires! Worse comes to worse I can always go "manual" mode correct?
Please take your time putting the Egg back together........no rush.......I get my sister's Vip Styled Sentra. LOL

Thank you for the update.......thought you weren't going to be able to work on the Egg? The passenger side being a little higher must of really bothered you huh? So the bearing was the culprit huh? Would you like me to ask how much the stock Pillow Mounts would run? I would pick up two if anything. Please let me know.......if it can go lower....then I don't mind waiting......I guess the real question is can I convince you into taking it all off to put it back in again? Just glad that the root of the problem was not that it might of been in an accident.
Anyways......glad to hear news that the rear did settle and got "semi-tuck". Looking forward in seeing the most updated photos........I would love to go up to see her first hand but I know that I won't be able to find your Mom's house if I were to try go up there. LOL

Yea i worked on the van yesterday becuase my GF is off tonight so figure work last night on the van an spend time with her on her day off with the kids. plus i had to find out why it was sitting like that..
Yea liito things bother me its it not right.. I always think while working on other peoples cars thats it my own.. have to be prefect and safe.. if it wasnt sitting even there was a reason and me being me i cant sleep unless i find why.. LOL
The ones that drop it lower i beleive is the OEM mount.. im not sure if they "toyota" redesigned it becuase the new ones " NAPA/ Monrooe"thats on now have a better type of brng in it.. you can take a chance on Genuine ones from toyota but no gurantee there going to be like the ones that came with the car.. I think neal might beable to get you better price on those from toyota.. But my sugestion would be for some cusco pillowball mounts if you really want to go lower... if they make it.. its no problem taking them out again.. as you know im a pro at it already..
IMO it looks ok from my eyes.. and like i told you you looose up hight the lower you go.. your full up on the front right now is were you had it when you gave it to me.. maybe a litto lower
IF you want to see that van just let me know.. I can take you up there.. or i can meet you down the hill with the van..
sence you dont need the van back soon.. ill also color match the flares to the car for you.. thats why i was asking the year and color today i was going to surprise you but i better ask you first before i paint it the same color as the rest of the car. I know its spray painted black and the paint is comming off.. So just an added bounse so that the ride looks even more sweeter.. IF you want the flares black let me know i can paint it black for you with the right paint.

Man you just keep taking it up to the next level...........I was wondering why you were asking me about the year and color of the Egg..........+1 for "Color Matched". Actually something that I wanted to do in the future.........figure I was going to do it when I got my Aero. But seeing that my Aero ain't happening anytime soon........or ïf" at all. Are you sure it is not too much to ask? Let me know how much the "materials" costs okay?
Thank you for taking care of my Egg as if you own...........you know more about my Egg and have put in more hours on my Egg than I have. Not sure my Egg is going to want to come back to me. LOL
Also thank you for the PM! That is some great news!

eight08customs,
I guess there really is a Santa Clause after all. It would be great if I could bring it to the VIP meet but being that it is Thursday I am just going to have to pass. If this meet was on a Weekend I would love to come out to support.

Mike,
Looking forward to them goodies you brought back home for the mother land.

To Mr. MR2X,
If it makes you feel better I myself have yet to see "complete" shots of the Egg. Do I want to see it? Of course I do......but at the same time a part of me wants to wait to see her after she is "completed". I'll just leave it up to eight08customs......if he posts them......great! If he rather wait........great! To me it is all "win/win".
As for future plans after replenishing the "rainy day fund".........not sure. But as of right now I don't have any plans of doing anything right away. Want to enjoy my Egg in her current status. I have some "Misc" items that I can sell to replenish pretty fast will the sale of those items but not sure if I will spend it on the Egg. Might just put it away. Hawaii's Tourism is taking a steep dive with both East and West Bound Visitors and they forecast that it ain't going to get any better until atleast 2010. So please come and tell all your friends to come and visit the beautiful Islands of Hawaii!!!

^^^^Take as many "test drives" as needs be! Might be a little while till she sees the road as I will end up "delivering" it to Servco to take care of the Master Cylnder issue. After that I will "re-divirginize" her with a Kahuku Shrimp truck run....back to the old "stomping grounds"........Red Raiders for Life. He he he.

.. i guess these new pics will hold me off for a little. hah. as for the economy, it's really backwards! i see a lot of people from hawaii visiting here in vegas. especially at my work (outlet mall). next time, i'll just say, "hey, spend money back home so yoshi can finish up his egg." :thumbs up:
great progress eight08.
p.s. is that side trim only on certain models/years?

^^^^^^^^Las Vegas is the Official 8th Island in the Hawaiian Chain. LOL The Locals here in Hawaii just love Vegas! Can't say that I have been there myself but I am sure that one day I will have the opportunity. As for telling the Locals to spend more money in Hawaii.........we need all the help we can get!! People losing jobs, those that still have jobs got "pay cuts", "less hours", or "both". Interesting how "cost of living" keeps going up every year.......but our pay does not......and right now it is actually decreasing. Crazy stuff out there!! Everyone please come to visit Hawaii!! Also please don't forget to give some love to our outer islands as well........the outer islands are probally hurting even more than us on Oahu.
Thank you for the update shot! This is exactly why I will always need to run "Overfenders" LOL. I got to give props to my "other" Master Fabricator Mr. Neal K..............he went at it with that grinder and "solved" my "cutting" tire issue........and gave me additional clearance just for this purpose. He really did a great job........but I think my Egg ate up all his grinder "wheels" he had left. Thanks Neal......I got to replenish your stock. The process went a lot faster after we noticed the "compressor" wasn't "on". LOL
Eight08customs,
So you thinking of "cutting" more huh? Please do what ever you want............"cut more" = "lower" = "easier to get into my ride with my "Walker". LOL The Egg is looking crazy sick!! Can't wait to see her "in person" once everything is done and complete. I think until then I will just keep checkin this post like everyone else. LOL

Mr2,
Sorry didn't see your P.S. question..........I believe that it came on all Egg models. "Complete" aero kits actually have "door caps or panels" which replace them. If I get a kit "door panels" are a must!

If you look where the "holes" are for the the Overfenders.......there is still fender which could be trimmed. Just curious about them "tabs" which were not cut because if there were cut the "inner and outer" fenders would separate. It is pretty crazy low already.....but if it can be made to go lower......trim away.

we're talking about the black line that goes across the side of the van, right? i don't have em! i don't mean the ugly gray piece. it's the one thing i hate about my van.
ohhh i've been meaning to ask.. would you happen to have a template/measurements/pics of your door hinge off the car? i found some over fenders but am weary of the rubbing issues that i may come across. it'd probably be best to ask shawnthemonster since u got it from him huh?

LOL You are going to buff my ride.........wow you just never stop going beyond my expectations! Worried that the buffing is going to "peel" off paint with all the rock chips. LOL I swear the previous owner must of went 4X4 with her......I have never seen so much rock chips in my life.........hense the "car bra".
Did you have any luck with the Digital Controller or are you still experiencing difficulties?

ok guys just about wraping this project up..
Put back on the freshly painted flares and yup its shinyer than the rest of the van.. or it was shinnyer also used stainless screws to screw on the flares.. looks alot better than the self tapping screws that it had on.
But no worries!!! Nothing a buffer cant semi fix..
Almost done buffing the van.. i think your going to trip when you see it.! IF never have all those rock chips the paint on the van is in awsome shape.
Took the van for a long test drive and everything is ok.. IT rides pretty good.. I just dont know what setting to put the struts at. i think i got it as soft as can go..
As for the Digital Ride.. it works but not to my expectations.. on a scale of 1 to 10.. id give it a 5..
the preset works.. turn on the car and it goes up.. untill the tank gets low on air than it get all screwy in which it has to i guess wait till the tank has enough air to continue. what it does is cycle through.. and raises in spurts.. I thought it would lift all one time smoothly..
the auto fill if theres a leak works.. loosened a fitting on the hose and vavle went on letting more air flow..
The pancake up and down works fine as well as the manual setting..

Sounds like you got a lot done on the Egg today. I can just imagine the Overfenders looking super clean and the Egg paint looking.......pretty rotten. Thank you for buffing the Egg........don't think that she is going to want to come back to me. She has never seen any wax since the day I got her......but that is because of all those rock chips. I best start taking better care of her.
Also much mahalos for trying your best to get the Controller to do what it is "supposed" to do. The Easy Street Digital Controller only got 5 out of 10.......that is an "F" by grading standards. Not too good.....guess I am in the same boat as others with Digital Controllers huh? I really got to give you Props for the patience and time that you spend getting it to do what you have got it to do.
I am looking forward in seeing her in person once you are completed with her. Thank you once again to eight08customs........he da man!
