Plan for Fuga...
I picked up an 2006 Infiniti M45, Twilight Blue with aero kit.
This is my planned mod list for now:
Work Varianza Schwert SC1, Black/Polish, Step Lip, 20x8.5+29, 20x9.5+32 (ordered)
Black work lug nuts
ProjectMu brake pads and rotors
Obligatory Fusa
Megan LP Coilovers
Still need:
Visors/Wing
Sub and Amp
Later:
Air
On the rims I didn't get too crazy on the offset since this car can't go too low (stock is 8.5+50), and not going airbags. I had to go .5" sizes to get step lip, hopefully these will fit up good. If you think I can go bigger without pulling fenders and keep decent drivability, please let me know as I just ordered...

I'd suggest checking out the M sub-forum on G35driver.com
Def DO NOT go with Megan coilovers. Since you're not tracking this car, you don't want anything too stiff like the Tein Flex or Tanabe. I'd go with the Tein CS for your needs. It's EDFC compatible. I play with my EDFC all the time.

Even the LP version of the Megan's are too stiff?
Also, just ordered some Rotora slotted/drilled rotors. Stock ones get too rusty...

Basically that it requires too much maintenance.
Also, the system I wanted to buy (AirRunner) was really slow.

u can do better offsets than that!! just go with springs if ur not gonna use coilovers to their full extent! JICs will get u lower than the floor..i vote JICs and slam it!! but then again..im biased

Finally got my parts together (just in time for xmas!).
I'm going to try coilovers first, but if the ride is too bad or a pain going over bumps, switch to air. Probably UAS.
Installed pics soon!

I went with the Megan COs since I could see how JIC could be 3x better for the price. Especially after I saw most of the parts come from the same place.
I'll probably switch to air later anyway.

JIC product is made under JIC control at all times, we do not out source our product unlike many other companies. Many people love our mono tube design. JIC is a global corporation made up of 3 divisions:
Cross Suspension Project/Japan Intercross(JIC) - Japan HQ
Ziel Sports/Japan Intercross Magic (JIC) USA/CROSS North America - USA operations
Korea Intercross(KIC)/Japan Intercross (JIC) Magic- Korean operations
All locations are under control of the Japanese HQ. We are not afraid to say that some small internal parts are manufactured in our plants in Korea only to be shipped to Japan where the bushings and shims for the dampers are then placed into the Japanese made assemblies after under going quality control under Japanese standards. The reason for these individual components being made in Korea, is because WE manufacture many products for OEM vehicle manufactures in that country, allowing us the convenience to mass produce products of various types. This also allows us the opportunity to supply our buyers quickly with less down time. Another advantage to not outsourcing is being able to keep our designs from being utilized by other companies.
In that photo is a small rubber component from inside a JIC damper, marked with our logo, just to show you that even the smallest pieces are made by JIC.

Taken from here.
Anyways, hope the Megans work out for you.

Thanks for the link, looks I got bad info from other forums that most parts were made in the same place. i.e.

really nothing's wrong with megan or rotora. kind of a mid-grade approach at a high end application. just my opinion of course, and we all know what that's worth...

I put the rim on and its the opposite of what I thought. The back ones fit perfect, and the front isn't aggro enough even though I pushed it out almost 1.5" over stock (and stock sport wheel on an M45 is already sitting pretty good for a stock rim)... maybe when I slam it itll look better.
