FW1 Spray on Wax... WOW! good stuff.

[B]CLIFFS: Bought FW1 spray wax, and its HEKKA SINCHY to use! Also turned out GREAT![/B]

I was at a gas station a few days ago and these people were doing free demos with a spray-on wax called FW1.  I was in the Tundra and a dude offered to do a demo on the car.  I was being an a$$ and said "no, the car is still new and I don't want any of that stuff on the car." He left me alone and I continued to fill up the Tundra with some gas and went home.

An hour later, I went to the gas station again to fill up my LS430.  I was approached by a hot chick from FW1 and she asked to do a demo on the car.  Without hesitation, I was like "Oh baby, hell yah! Do it!" (I lied, I didn't say that). I politely said, "Yeah, go ahead." So she sprayed the wax and started wiping a section of my quarter panel-which has hella swirl marks! She stroked it left and right and I was like "ohhhhhh yeahhhhh."  I was bursting with joy and excitement!!!!!! .........as the swirl slowly diminish. =)

I went ahead and bought 2 cans for $25. I got home and applied it all over the car. I left the car in the garage for 2 days and there were some dust on the car. I drove the car 70 miles on the freeway to work today and there were bug juice and stuff on the windshield and front bumper. I got home from work today and looked at my car and was like "honey, you look dirty." I took a towel and wiped over the dust, bugs, and dirt and everything came off with ease.  The cars finish is still shiny like mirror and I was like "WOAH! this stuff is great!"  

This FW1 stuff is definitely something you all should have in the trunk of your car. Perfect to do the last minute wipe down during shows, etc.

It's good stuff. I have a box of it at home. Only thing I don't like is that if you're not careful you get overspray on some unreachable places and then it dries white.

no shit.... i was at a gas station bout a month ago, and they were there with this stuff... thought it was just another one of those gimmicks, guess I shoulda checked it ou..

Those guys were at that chevron by my shop. THe dude said they use it in nascar for better aerodynamics and you can even use it on glass.

Any info where it is sold? Such as Checkers or Auto Zone? At work right now and just saw this, hence why I asked now.

That's pretty dope, how can I get 2 for $25?

I don't think any merchant carries it. Though, I might be wrong. They have it online for $19.99 a can (OUCH!).
 
The chick that sold it to me said the special pricing was only available at the promotion site.

Same happened here, I let the hot chick spray it on my car and rims no questions asked. She was really doing her best to boost my ego by calling me "big guy" but I wouldn't budge, I was being cheap. I told her I could do 2 for $10 but she didn't like that idea

i got it too at the gas station as well. works pretty good! I prefer eagle one nanowax because it applies better with no white residue. still great stuff though!

holy cow... they still make this stuff??? i used that stuff a few years ago, when they sold it at wal-mart... when it was called FASTWAX, i guess FW for short now... it works wonders, very nice on rims too.... but the white residue gets annoying when its between like door jams... :biggthumpup:

i got attacked in houston too. yea he tried to spray it on my rims. i said do you have any idea how much those cost. if that eats the finish ima fuck you up and your gonna buy me a new rim. not the company. needless to say he didnt spray any on the rim but he promised me it wouldnt mess it up

I was approached at a gas station too. The guy demoed it and it was cool. 2 for 25 or he said he would "hook me up" for 1 for 13. i was like no thanks. luckily my homie gave me a can for free. i like the stuff.

my friend use to work for them in the bay area, it was pretty tight, their was that nascar shit where u can wash your whole car with no water. all u needed was a can

or fill up at night. At least that way anyone who approaches you at night you have a viable reason to shoot them lol

But on the real, i questioned Griots dry car wash.. til i saw it work on my friends 09 gtr.

if a traditional wash with a dirty mit leaves fine scratches in the paint there's no way you're going to convince me that anything dry won't. even the product video raises red flags. "clean from top to bottom" and "be careful with heavily soiled areas" tells me that there is a risk of marring the paint.
