Cima badging.

On the trunk, does the Japanese Nissan and Cima badge fit in the existing Inifniti and Q45 badge holes? Or would have to fill in the factory holes and drill new ones? Or are the Jap badges stick on?

That's why you register your car with the Cima instead of the Q45. Ha too bad you can't though. I'd always just say that's how i got the car i don't know how to change it.:shrug:Maybe it'll slide.

I doubt you'll get pulled over in northern cali unless the cop is really really bored or just wack. I haven't got pulled over for my front plate or my cut muffler.:biggthumpup: If you debadge your car and don't get pulled over i doubt you'll get pulled over for changing them.:smiley-rofl:

The Cima Badge itself is double side sticky tape.   The Nissan Badge is plug and play with the removal of the Infiniti symbol

yes indeed, notice i said the infiniti symbol not the q45, so yeah you would have to remove the q45 symbol all together and probably do some touch up paint or have the trunk resprayed depending on how good your paint is and the color of your car

the infiniti symbol is a plug? shiet... i was about to rip that off... dont want holes in my trunk... shieeeet. =T unless that only applies for the 98 and under model with the full tail lights... verification please...

cops are more and more crooked anyways now a days. But in regard to the badging, they fit like a glove in my cima. where the infinity symbol goes, you can put that octagon or whatever shaped badge right there,

Yesterday I drove to a vendor, roughly 50 miles each way, cruised at 85-90, tipped 100 about 4-5 times, coming back, behind a cop in the left lane, going 85.  That doesn't happen in other states, not in my experience. If I were in MD, I'd have been pulled over at least 5 times.  IMO Cal is extremely chill on modded cars (and speeding), unless you look like teen racer boy maybe.

It is on the car you got.Usually it's rare that a luxury gets pulled over before a 240sx.Sports cars and ricey cars have more illegal things that 5% tint in the front on a luxury.:biggthumpup:Some cops also pull you over on your race sometimes.If your driving alone it's most likely that you wont get pulled over and if your rolling deep it's more suspicious for I'm guessing a crime or something. At least in Norcal.

I almost got pulled over racing on the freeway but i stopped and saw the cop coming full speed in my rear mirror and he pulled up behind me and drove past me to chase the Hatch back which was a Honda Civic. My car was stock the hatch had what um:

B18 swap maybe
lower so low it was scraping
etc you get the idea.

IMO rebadging shouldn't be a problem just dont even think about you getting pulled over. If they do they'll ask why your cars a Cima. Just say you like JDM emblems so you badge the car how it's in Japan dunno if it'll work good luck though.Keep us updated.
