In Japan, most if not all the cars that you see in the magazines are apart of their own team or click.  
 
For those of you that have formed or are part of a vip style team, use this thread to rep your set :biggthumpup:

My team is called Team Solo...there's only one car so far.   If I get a few more I think I'll change the name to Team Few.

Tristatevip is another one but all the vip inspired guys in the new crew are in that crew too.

Why does it matter?
What's wrong with camaraderie?  

We're trying to create a tight community of like minded people Samson.  There's no fame and fortune, just family.   Why do you think NG and Empire are tight?  We share some of the same ideals and direction.  Do I care if people come and go?  Not really..there's nothing to tie them down and we have no mandatory meetings or anything of that sort.  They can do what they want.  Would I like them to stay?  Sure...but I leave that decision up to them.  We just all have love for the same thing and would rather keep drama and business out of it...

i just want to get an idea of other crews is run...i looked at the team hybrid site and i admire their crew. so i want to ask other's opinion here what and how they feel about being in one (or multiple crews)

I was part of PIMPLUX with Night Garage as our Sister Crew and Executive Konnexion back in the day.  I have since "retired" as it is growing ever more difficult to manuver with my "Walker" and stay on my feet for long periods of time.  LOL  

I got to give mad Props to PIMPLUX as they were the 1st to be representing the VIP Styling since 2001 here in the 808.  It is great to see the 808 reppin the style and look forward to what the future holds not only for Hawaii but all over the World. 

At the same time I must admit I miss those Mapunapuna Jack-in-the-box meets trying to rep the VIP Styling when it was still "Underground" and "Un-Chartered Terriotory" in Hawaii.....those were some good times............

So my friend Ahmad and I listen to a lot of Young Jeezys songs because he comes up with the stupidest most rediculously funny lyrics ever. One of them happend to be "...got some supa friends in tha Legion of Dooommmmm". So we started saying that as an inside joke. When it came time to make up a stupid name for a car crew, we picked that. Only 2 members so far... We've always tried to make the dumbest team names up... Back when we raced around like idiots in the canyons we had Asphalt Assassins, Blacktop Terrorists, etc.

i wish i was  part of a "crew" but wyoming sucks  :slap:

Dude, badass!  My brother is going to school there now.  I was just there in Sept dropping him off at the dorms.  God damn is that a lil tiny ass town..haha.  Wasnt anything to do while I was there.  What classes are you taking?  I think he is in business auto now and then he is going to go to some auto tech course after that.

ive been here since september of last year and ill be done 19 dec. your brother is in ASM (Applied Service Mgmt), i havent been through the class but i hear it sucks (ill be taking it online once im done here). the courses i have been through and am currently in include automotive technology, chassis fabrication and high performance engines, custom street rod and custom paint, and trim and upholstery. the town isnt too bad other than it being windy all the time. and at 7200 ft above sea level its colder than surrounding areas and when you first get here its harder to breathe. but there are a couple of bars in town to keep warm and its a college town so theres always eye candy at the laramie mall (wal-mart):smiley-rofl:

Dude thats the only thing that kept me happy was the eye candy in wal-mart, and these chicks that work at the liquor store on 3rd and curtis.  Sooo sooo sooo many corn fed white girls.  :biggthumpup:  Its funny cos I found it easier to breathe up there and im a big smoker...  What was cool is since the town is like a mile above sea level, the clouds hang so low, like street light height.

I rep bB Squad but I definitely cant call us a VIP crew although some of our cars are somewhat VIPstyled anyone can be on the site but you have to be invited to the actual Squad...

Thats why all prospective members have to attend multiple tabtuesday meets. Thats where we can see you in action and make a more practical desicion.

we've got a few more members but i dont have any pics of their rides. black gs400, platinum ucf20, blue g50.... our crew, we keep it traditional VIP platforms, with the exception of the baddass accord wagon lol...

TriStateVip wasn't created or is a Strictly VIP crew... it was created mostly to integrate ALL car enthuiast in the NYC Tristate Area... 'Cause at the end of the day... we have one thing in common... The Love of Cars...
 
I think that by having a Crew that support all types of Modifications... be it Tuner, JDM, EXE, VIP Styled or VIP... we can all learn and support each others GOALS... or for some people get an IDEA of what THEIR GOALS really are... But the People come FIRST... then the CARS... 'cause I'm glad to have MET the people I have met while being part of it... :biggthumpup: ... however, the knowledge acquired about VIP was the icing on the cake... :runcoold:
