where can i take my Volk GT-U's to get their lips ploished up or repolished what ever they call it... they just don't shine like i want them to..... im located in socal / SGV... please anyone ..thanks!! Erick

Did they do the face of the wheel as well? Is it polished with no clear coat?

I had my wheels disassembled, stripped and then polished. I wanted clearcoat, but I ran out of time for a show. I do like the finish on an uncleared polished wheel, I just hate the work involved with the up keep. :P

may i ask how much it cost you... thats a real clean shine on that lip.. how do you actually maintain a a lip like that... may be i am cleaning them wrong or something...

[/quote] It cost me I think $130/wheel, that included everything except clearcoat. I really havent found a "miracle" compound that will make it easy to polish wheels, it really takes a lot of effort to keep them the way they are.
