I hate teasers. Lets see what they look like on the car! With the spacers on, what will be your new offset?

I'm sorry but 31mm spacers needed, I don't consider that game over....if the wheels were the right specs without then I'd say game over...not hating...just stating...i remember seeing a widebody crx @ sema years ago with huge spacers...looked terrible

Dope Grill. But yea...dont show off spacers. You can make your setup look dope, but if you got the right wheels to begin with you wouldnt have needed em... :pat:
But then I cant really be talking I mucked up and have 20mm fronts and 25mm rears w/ stud extensions

Guys..most of the joke with the spacers goes back to me. I've been giving Justin shit for his fitment since day one..and all in fun (we're friends). So this is great to see man! I can't wait to see the pics. The grill will set off your wheels even more...pics when you've got the chance!!

I agree with you, if you get wheels that have nearly perfect offsets and such, you wouldn't need spacers.

Those should be good for the wheel bearings :smiley-rofl:. guess you gotta pay to play

would spacers really play in the wear of wheel bearings? I was wondering about wider then stock total widths would put additional stress on the bearings and hub.

Both also put strain on the studs!
THat's why I wonder if Widebody did anything to strengthen his wheel studs or any body else rollin crazy wide wheels
HHAHahahaha! Auto Fashion showed me a 90mm spacer one time!
That shit was F*** thick!!!

It does less stress than you'd think. I speak from experience with 60/80mm spacers on my brother's 930 Widebody. The biggest I've seen used was 130mm spacers on an IMSA 911. And that's a race car...so you tell me. Just be sure that they are hub centric. That's the only issue you'd really have as most spacers larger than 12mm are bolt on with additional studs. I'm sure there is some form of wear or tear, but obviously it's not catastrophic or they wouldn't use such large ones for racing applications.

I'd rather rock a wider wheel and/or lower offset than some 40 ft spacers...

True, but your wheels aren't magnesium and don't cost several grand each. So when they go for wider track (or widebody for even wider track) for handling, they don't buy $8000+ worth of new wheels.

they're made from solid blocks of aluminum, so they don't weigh all that much. The handling characteristics gained far outweigh (no pun intended) the minor weight gain.
SO...Justin, where's those pics?? Haha!
