found out that i'll be getting the 02 Camry during somewhere in High school.
So i wanna make plans & Save up.


im thinking of Work euroline Dh. 
19's or 20.
i would probably get a Lip. customized to my fit.
I would like to get it staggered.
but i dont know bout the suspension.
Some help would be appreciated.
Camber & all that crap.

I got Lots to learn.
But i guess its good to start off young.

Im just a kid with dream. ;D

Sounds cool. I suggest 19s, since the Camry is big, but not [i]that[/i] big, and 20s might look pretty "dub" as opposed to Vip style.
There is bound to be a coilover setup for the Camry somewhere, if not, a good lowering spring or air suspension - something to get rid of or at least minimize the wheel to fender gap is in order for starters. Suspension will camber naturally when you lower it, but how much depends on the car.

hahaha Yah. 20 might be too big.

And no real need to go staggered either (I'm afraid that's become another buzz word in the US that has no real foundation or meaning)... stick with a nice set of 19s in a good fitment, and slam the car down and be ahead of the game

Hmm indeed young scrap you have quite a bit to learn, also i know you probably see dh's as the choice of wheel and yea its popular one on vip styled cars but can i suggest running a monoblock wheel maybe a carlsson or a oz opera II editionw wheel.
On a camry and being fwd i see not a reason to run staggered (i know cliche) but if you get a monoblock in different offsets i think it will suit the car better, if i were to get a camry this would be choice.

And 19's or even strected 18's would be suitable....

I don't think that he is. Running a stagered setup on a FWD car doesn't aid in traction, because your drive wheels are up front. I think what he meant was that by running a monoblock wheel, you can get same width wheels with different offsets. A lower offset for the rear wheels, and higher for the front. This will allow you to have both sets flush with the body.

Oh and what year camry are we talking about? If it is one of the newer models...19's a re the way to go, if we are talking about 2000 bodystyle, then 18's will be big enough.

As for suspension...probably air.

19s is the way to go on a 2002. IMO the SLs or the Carlssons will look the best and will complement the "bubbly" shape of the camry a lot better than the bulky DHs would. As for the offset...that's hard one. My best suggestion would be to find someone with a 19" wheel with a desired width (probably 8 or 8.5 all around), take one wheel and install it on your car and see how far it sticks out. Then take a measurement from the edge of the rim to the imaginary point where you'd like the edge of the rim to be. So let's say it's 5mm further than where it is right now and the original offset of the wheel is +45...then you just subtract 5 from 45 and your new offset is +40...meaning you can go with a 19x8 +40 wheel. Do the same thing front and rear. Obviously if you don't mind doing some bodywork you can go pretty low on the offset, add some camber, and pull your fenders.

Just read your other post...a +45 or +50 offset in DHs will look like crap IMO. You will get about .5" of lip if even that...so it may be better to go with a monoblock wheel in that case. But I'm sure you can get down into the mid to low 30s in your offset.

yeah I understand that staggered fitment is for RWD vehicles (rear wheel drive hence wider in the rear accounts for better traction, etc) but if it's purely for cosmetic purposes then what does it matter ? 

I was really against staggered fitment for FWD vehicles but then I saw a few (example the RSX with Estatus wheels) FWD vehicles that really pulled it off really well.

as for understeer, I really don't think it's a big deal since VIP style is mostly cosmetic. A car is about what? 20 ft long ? What can a 1" wheel width difference do ? In theory it will cause under-steer but in reality it really makes little difference for normal everyday driving.

This whole VIP style or "japanese style" with negative cambers, stretched tires, and slammed suspensions are all based on impractical things. A staggered fitment for a FWD is just as impractical.

Yeah, that wheel looks great... ON A CAR THAT CAN HANDLE SOME OFFSET! A Camry will be running something like a 18X8+35... There will be lip, but it will be unimpressive. I would recomend a full face design spaced out to the fender. This creates a very bold and "full" look that should compliment a car like the Camry. Style the car for what it is, not what you wish it was.

No, not on a car that is more about the looks and presence. Sure, some of the extreme FWD track and race cars may not want a staggered set-up, but the over all effects are negligible on cars driven like we drive ours. The VW scene has been rocking some crazy staggered set-ups on small engine FWD cars for decades! Its all about style and looks.

Not a full face wheel, this wheel looks good on a car that can pull off some offset, but on higher offset cars it creates the whole "fake-lip" look that IMO looks cheap and not as classy as a well fitting full face designed mono-block wheel.

I would never buy the LX again because it is designed to create fake lip.  Much like the RH Pro wheels. 
 
x2 on going with a full face monoblock wheel on FWD.   How about the Autocouture Intensive Trance 20" wheels in the classified.

They are only 4 lugged. & in 15 & 16 inch
and 6 Spokes while this has 7 spokes and more nicer. 8)
