Dang it Mark! Many people on VW boards don't want to go through the work of fitting these wheels. I want to do few track events...possibly get the played out 19" BBS CHs and slam the car some more. Or go back to wheels with a stepped lip.

haha I do think these wheels look better on cars other than SL. I may stick to stock wheels for the time being because i can't decide on what I want next. Kinda want something that noone else has on a GTI...less aggressive than this, by about 5mm.

Well they will look a lot better for sure and offset should be pretty good. If anything he may want to put some spacers on there...but I doubt that he'll have to do that.

Mark....I don't need you to take the turn to the negative town here :) I just hate seeing my fender get destroyed and lately been driving fast...scraping everywhere.

I could meet you someplace mid way....unless my buddy is down, he has family in Tiger (spelling???). Otherwise I can meet you someplace past Olympia...like Centralia if that works for you. I should find out today if he wants to go to Portland or not.

Oh and just realized that I have a 10K race on 21st in Olympia...so definitely meeting half way works, just have to see if I'll go all the way to Portland the day before or something like that.

For a Benz, I'd definitely do some 255 series tires in the back and maybe 235 or 245 up front. These would look a bit funky on dads car. But these definitely can be reused...tires are in awesome condition and have plenty of life left in them!

haha something like that. Just need to change it up...and VF is having a sale on their intercoolers...oh so tempting. Plus I kinda like the OEM wheels slammed...maybe add some spacers and call it good for now.
