It's the holiday season once again and Video Games are on and poppin again!
 
I wish I had more time and $$$$ to copp these and enjoy.
Recently I've been spendin a crazy amount of time on NCAA 09 (GO TEXAS!) but now I jus downloaded the NEW COD5 multiplayer beta demo for 360 and have been loggin some hours on that. Game looks ok so far. The levels are SICK!!!! and the weapons are actually good for being so old. The new dog feature is different but for the moment kinda cool along w/ a few other features. I like how the demo is lettting you level all the way up and unlock shit. I was playin lastnight and some cat was already at level 30!!!! WTF!!! You have to get to level 60 sumthin to get the flamthrower but I'm sure it's probably gonna be worth it! I also hope you get to transfer over your stats to the full game! What's everybody elses review on the game so far? Mind you it is jus the beta version so hopefully most of them bugs get taken care of!

Gears of war2 is gonna be dope. That's the only non sports game i've been waiting on.

i have socom 3, but cant play it till i go home :(

GoW 2 and Mirror's Edge are the two I'm excited about.

Maybe I'll pick up ME... but that takes away from my parts budget.

Just got Midnight club, fucking badd ass. The customization is awesome they even keep it real with Work's and BBS. You can even customize tire width  size,and stance. L A is almost to scale, but the driving dynamics could be better. Overall 8.5/10

I miss playing Starcraft.  Currently I'm having fun playing Little Big Planet.  It's a pretty fun/funny game.  Especially online with friends.

The last version MC DUB edition was so sick w/ the customizations you could do!
You could also play w/ tire specs and add freakishly deep wheels on any car!

Im a PS3er myself and do want to grab that Midnight Club LA but the remix always has more cars so I think I'll try and wait for that one...of course the main game which Ive already completed and started again is GTA4 you gotta love Niko and the rest of the gang on this one...Madden is always another one I look forward too not every year but every other...

GTA4 got boring to me after I beat it, haven't been able to crawel back to it. Too slow for me right now. I heard Saint Row 2 is way better though

starcraft is possibly the best game of all time, but I know blizzard and I wouldnt put my hopes in thier projected release date! they have a bad habit of delaying the shit outta thier games, but at the expense of greatness!

I usually don't play games as much these days as i use to, pretty odd to hear from a 16 year old i would guess. I've always played Counter-Strike 1.6 but when my homie let me borrow Counter Strike Source, i've been hooked up on that shit like no other.

GOW2 IS AMAZING!! I was up until 4am playing this game, I cant put it down.  this game is so much more immersive its not even comparable to the first one.

in addition to gow2 this month i think i might get dead space, tom clancy's end war, midnight club la, left 4 dead, and need 4 speed undercover. and possibly mirror's edge as well. i have no idea when i will find the time to play all these games though lol.

Endwar at least the demo looked and sounded cool but I got so fustrated playing the demo tryna yell the right commands into the mic. so I'll pass on that one!

buy/rent the first one o-man, the game is all about that cover mechanic! figure out if you dig it with the first one before you blow some coin on the second.  I love gow2 but i loved the first one too!  

i cant wait for payday so some fallout 3 can happen, then i think imma chill off buying shit for a long while haha.

GOW2 came out last night!  Lots of fun but it took a long time to find matches...hopefully it will get better as more people get the game today.

   Fallout 3 is sick. You basically get to do whatever you want, every choice has a consequence and as you progress through the game you grow your character's stats weapon choices, skills etc. It is a game that spent a lot of time paying attention to detail. If you are not into this kind of free roaming game then it might not be for you, but, if these games are your thing that it is awesome. I just like not being told what to do all the time when I play a video game. I can spend hours just walking around and exploring the world (which is freakin huge) if I want to. Also it is not your typical first person shooter, when you go into battle you really need to plan things out, otherwise, your dead.

My boy was tellin me, you can go around and have sex w/ chics w/ or w/o condoms and stuff like that and the game evolves to you! 
 
I like games that take forever to beat and have long replay value
*Hence my passion for sports games and COD4 but if I can find the time to play it , I'll check it out.
 
Also, sounds lame, but I tend to buy mostly games that are rated high. So if it has like a 9 or 10 rating then I'll most likely have it. 
 
Back when I was a buck, I use to copp games jus to have the newest shit but then I would beat it and get bord and trade them in w/ in a few days of buying them. Well I found out how much money I was losing by doing this and told myself, I'll only pick up games I will never really trade and will always play!

played GOW2 last nite....love all the options you have on multiplayer now.  shiet makes playing with your click easy as hell.  wo0t for the lobby now.

I did not like the face that the game is wayy brighter than the first one.  On top of that, the multiplayer graphics are sub par to the original.  I have yet to play campaign so dont know hows thats looking yet.

All I been playing since the minute it came out was NBA2k9  The only thing I like more then cars is basketball.  Its the only game I ever get the day it comes out every single year since the dreamcast days.
 
I really don't have too much time to play video games that much so I don't have online.  I def need to get it so I can drop 60 points with Marbury against who ever wants it.  I got money on it too

It does feel like a add on type game but remember that is a old beta of the game! The actual game should be cleaned up more...........I HOPE!

I jus picked up NBA2k9 and GOW2 today! It was so hard to not buy like 5 games! So many good ones out right now. 
YO I think we have that same passion widebody. I as well have been a fan of NBA2K series since the dreamcast days and I love how they finally will have up to the date rosters to keep up w/ all the new trades......IVERSON XP

i went to wal mart today and picked up GOW2 went home to play it all geeked up take of the plastic and the tape that they put on the ends of the case open up the case and WHAM!!! it was a bullshit scratched up copy of EBONY EYES (who the hell is that) cd!! i thought my mind was playing tricks on me so im looking all over my living room for the game disk till i finally realized i got jacked, so now im hot and get right back in my whip and ride back to wal-mart and after 30 mins of explaining and having managers  look at me like im trying to run a scam they finally gave me another copy, from now on when i buy a game im gonna open it up right there in front of the cashier them damn games cost to much to be effin around!!!!!!:rules:

Played the first 10 min. of COD5 Campaign for the first time lastnight.
THAT SHIT IS SICK!!!!!!! Graphics are amazing! And there's so much going on that it's jus nutz!
The whole time I was like "Wooooooo, woooooo, DAMN! SICK! THAT'S TIGHT!"
Can't wait find time to play som mo and check out the rest of the multiplayer levels!

I beat COD5 in maybe a total of a few hours. The story mode has always been short. It was okay lots of intense action but still short. The story it self was blah but I think they tend to focus more on the multiplayer! Which is koo w/ me! :biggthumpup:
 
That Nazi Zombies at the end is a trip......
 
SO far I have been havin a BLAST playin GOW2!!!! I've almost beat the campaign, it's pretty lengthy for this type of genre but I like that! Makes me want to keep it and play it again! THe gory kills in the game are GANGSTER!!!!! Makes headshots that more rewarding! SO far this is my fav.!!!
 
Mirros Edge is ok, I wouldn't suggest buying it.

Yo Colby O'donis, NBA2K IS SOOOOOO MUCH better than last years!!! Presentation is SICK!!! w/ all the updates and highlights! ANd that live roster/stats is INSANE!!!!!! If your using that features I don't see how you are winning games as the Knicks! 
The music playlist is pretty dope for a game as well.

FOr anybody that hasn't seen it yet. Xboxlive changed there whole interface look. Now when you use your Xbox the look is way different! I LOVE IT!!
 
Some of the new features are:
 
-You can now rent movies using netflex straight from your Xbox
 
-You can save your games to your HD so you never touse a disc to play your games! CRAZY!
 
-And probably my fav feat. is, Xbox has now addaptive the Wii like feature that allows youto create your own Advatar buddy. That shit is FUN! I spent like 1-2 hours tryna create my perfect one. I thought he came out pretty freash!!! There's tons of combinations you can do and they said every 2 weeks they'll be adding more things you can but on your buddy! The interface also allows you to see your friend's buddies!
 
- I also saw that it now has way more video content. You can check out previews, tips and all sorts of other video game stuff on there than ever before.
 
- The one downside I found, was that the load times between menus were glitchy and seem to stick/freeze. Hope they fix that!
 
The xboxlive interface was already decent but now it's way more interactive and has way more personality now! PROPS XBOX! :biggthumpup:

i told myself i was staying dedicated to COD4, and would refuse COD5. then, two days ago my girlfriend comes home and gives me a present...guess what it was.

i played all day yesterday. i don't really do the single player, i like multiplayer. it's fun, but it seems like they put more effort into COD4. i'd wish they'd bring back air strikes instead of dog attacks. :pat: the weapon accuracy seems better, or they made the headshot/kill boxes aallloottt better like they did post-CS1.3...but with worse damage.

I only play the single player once jus to beat it so I don't miss out on that part of the game.
 
I'm keeping my COD4, don't know when I'll ever play it but it's never got old and there's still things I like better than 5. The gameplay seems alot better! But I think most of that is due to infinityward not having a hand in COD5. Hopefully they continue to add more levels to COD4, cause that's all it's missing. THe ones on 5 are pretty koo sofar....

I think I like GOW2 multiplayer better, even though I've only played it once or twice.
It's jus more gorey and fun.......

When you get a Kill Streak of 3
The Recon Plan will Spot the Enemy Location
If the Enemy Does Not have a Supressor
 
When you get a Kill Streak of 5
the AirStrike will Come
But Enemy can Hide Inside a Building to Stay Alive.

The Dogs will come out and be Released on All
The Enemys There is Really No way to Hide from them
You can Only Put you Back to a Wall 
and Shoot them when you see Them.

I downloaded the demo last night and my bor. and I where have alot of fun w/ this one!
The visuals are and speed are INSANE!!!! Graphically the levels look beautiful and the game is SO FAST!!!!! You REALLY!!!! get a since of speed and of how fast SONIC really is! I'm probably pickin this one up

you know its actually a pretty good game, but sniping is totally f'ed up.

it takes forever to hold your breath, hitboxes are even more off than 4, and even with stopping power most rifles cant kill without 2,3 shots.

I'm knee deep in Fallout 3 on my PC.  This game is ultra sick...love it.

I'm still tryna decided on Fall out 3........I still don't get all the hype?!

Then you NEED to play it.  Apocalyptic wasteland full of mutated creatures and so many plots and adventures...it's awesome.  And you could replay it differently every time.  Your karma can change everything.  Right now I'm about as evil as a player could be and have bounty hunters trying to take me out.  It's just awesome.

Yea all sounds good but I'm a visual learner and still aint caught the hype except for that VATS system that looks really ILL!

fallout 3 is game of the year oscar, it deserves at least a rent from ya!

Right now I am getting super pissed off at my PC because GTA IV (which just came out) is running like total ass, which sucks cause I just upgraded to a whole new computer that runs most other games on max settings.  I should have just saved my money and got a 360:pat:

Dude no kidding, that is the best part of the game. I played it with a friend. We got to level 20 something, and I haven't really played it since. Kinda got old after that round.

^^^^ Zombie mode is the shit.  15 is the farthest i ever gotten with my friend.

As long as you get lucky with the random gun locker, you're good to go.  Even with only 2 players you can get far.  Just split up zones to watch and rebuild if you can.
