Blu is one of the nicest MCs out of CALI and Exile is a incredible beat maker!

I'd recommend BeatMaker by Intua for iPhone or iPod Touch if you want to learn. Highly recommended app! You can create your own beat packs to load onto the touch pads as you would on an MPC. And the app is only $19.99.

You can find cheap 6 button pads for around $200

I fux with fruity loops i just haven't figured out how to chop samples up n put them into Fruity loops "MPC"

Yeah man I mess with Reason at the studio! Cakes anytime you in H-town and wanna come to the studio you can!

I use FL Studio also.  I made probably 75% of my music with it.

Funny you posted this! I just picked up a MPC 2000, a Triton, a turntable and a couple studio monitors the other day. I'm gonna spend Sunday setting it up, reading the book and watching the instructional DVD... It's about to be on!

I got it for a Homie price, but I seen them on eBay for $300-$595 depending on Memory and whether it was a 2000[B]XL[/B] or not. I would stay away from local shops, they typically mark their stuff up 50-70%.

That was pretty slick.

You could essentially get your hands on some Music production software and pick up a SoftMPC control pad like the Akai MPD16 USB/MIDI DRUM pad Controller.

I am actually thinking about picking up something like this to use in FL Studio since FL has a builtin SoftMPC called "FPC Generator".

Trigger Finger I think it's made by M-Audio
