i need some help from egg owners.

hello.. for all egg owners 
i have a double din stereo... and i cannot find a car kit for it.. any help would be greatly appreciated...

I have a double-din in my Egg............not kit was necessary for my Clarion.  The double-din replaced my Clarion 7 Inch Flip Out and Clarion MD Player.  I will ask Progressive Auto Sounds if they did use a kit to make sure for you though.

What brand of Double-din did you get?  When I got mine was leaning towards the Kenwood but being that a lot of my components in the Egg are Clarion and the easy of use of the Clarion when that route.

One thing I don't like about our Eggs in the "angle" that the Double-din will be......it is angled up.  There are times in the day that I can't see my screen very well.  I was thinking about having them "flush" the double-din but all the A/C controls would also need to be moddified.......add yet another design flaw on our Eggs.  But regardless.....I still love my Egg.

i bought an eclipse avn summin.. lolz.. the people i bought the car from.. dremeled the crap out of the shroud where the stereo goes so its dang ugly. plus the stereo sinks in..so im looking for a way to make it look nice without buying a whole new shroud..

I have an Eclipse AVN5435 double din on mine.   It was a simple drop-in install, so I don't know why the old owners had to dremel anything.

You can always look for a used shroud on ebay or maybe cover the imperfections with a wood dash kit.  Or fiberglass if you're handy.  Take a pic to see if I can help.
