wheel polish??

whats a good product to polish my wheels... wanna keep them looking like new!!!

I use turtle wax ICE!!!! 
LOL! no.....I really do! 
and I'm sure there's cats on here that will vouche for how clean I keep my wheels!

Also blue magic is a good polish but it's MESSY!!!!

what you use to apply it the power ball??

hmm i should try turtle wax ice my friend uses that on his new paintjob and it looks pretty damn good for how easy it is to apply and wipe off. i personally use wheel wax. that shit repels brake dust like crazy but the only thing is u gotta wipe it off good or it stays caked on. stuff is dope though.

A terry cloth/polishing towel

Power balls suck on rims! If your not carful you can scratch em and they can't get in the crevices that you need!
 
I've used turtle wax ICE on my car ever since it came out! Some people like it and others hate it, I LOVE IT!!! It goes on and comes off so easy and in any weather and it gives your car that nice wet shiny look! LOVE IT!
 
I clean my wheels almost every day! So I wouldn't know about the repeling brake dust part but I don't think either of the products I use repels brake dust!

What's the name of the stuff you use?

umm im not sure of the full brand name, but its a black container that says wheel wax on it, ive also seen a white container called like poorboys or something i know thats a brand. black one is actually sold by infiniti dealer, i just found out, but its still cheaper on autogeeks.net or some other detailing site. also apparently some shop in hawaii called pakshak.com has been growing and now offers all sorts of higher end detail products.

it works great! makes the diamond cut look mean. and if you put 2 coats on the front wheels and 1 coat on the back it stays clean for a long time. (no not more than a couple of weeks, unless u have really low dusting ceramic pads, but you guys with baller wheels should be cleanin em real often like pancakes does :biggthumpup:) it also makes the brake dust that does stick come off super easy. also another tip i learned from a local detailer is using those Mr.Clean white dry erase pads that u use to wipe crayons off walls n shit. good to use on barrels to clean off brake dust after u apply wheel wax. works pretty cherry to me. so far i didnt try it on the face of the wheel though i just use a microfiber.

ok so after double checking it is called WHEEL WAX, also they have CHEMICAL GUYS, and POORBOYS. but ive only used the first one.  
 also forgot to mention when my wheels were brand new i put zaino ClearSeal. shit is like 30 bucks for a small clear water lookin spray bottle but u can tell its dope cause when u rub it on it leaves an iridescent diamond cut polish look and dries clear and leaves a 6 month polymer protection layer. i also use it on my woodgrain and basically anything around the house that needs some protection. i looove zaino

this is pretty much all u guys need, 
p21s wheel gel for cleaning, zaino or some other brand tire dressing(the ones that leave a natural non greasy look are the best, the wet look kind just attracts grime and u gotta scrub ur tires after a week or so) 
and wheel wax to top it off.   hah..now all i need is some new wheels =\

Do you have a clear coated finish or not?

I dont have a clear coat, I use Eagle One NevurDull.


It takes forever for me to do by hand, but dammit, when im done, its sexy and decent for about 2 weeks....

MEETOO!! my lips are not clearcoated and i ruined two sets of wheels before  i started using this stuff on ALL exteriour surfaces of the car including the wheels. no worries now.
