Finally the car is washed, intercooler installed, lowered...again. Was practicing with my 75-200mm lens on half of the pictures. Rest were done with 18mm lens.

nice car. definately gives civics owners a run for their money. the first 2 pics need more exposure though.

man 2nd looks. lol. that front end is so sick. sporty yet subtle.

I can't make up my mind on wheels. I liked the Benz wheels that were on the car, but too many people had them and rear kept rubbing like crazy. I actually like how the car looks on huffs. There's a local guy selling grey BBS CHs that I really like...so maybe those will be next. Also toting with an idea of getting a 335i or 645ci on some 22s. 
For the time being the car will stay as-is and come spring time, I will start planning...need to get out of debt first.

Oh and on pics being underexposed. I played around with levels quiet a bit. Also longer exposure would have killed the skies.
Also second to last pic would have looked 100 times better if the ground was either black asphalt or red brick. Right now the car blends in withthe ground. Might try shooting it at university campus, it has red brick everywhere.

btw i think you should go for some fat face wheels on this car. i would vote for something in the range of work FS. maybe even DH, but those are played out a bit.

haha everyone asks me that. Apparently the reason is simple:
VW had parts painted in batches and from what I understand at different times, so my doors could have been painted months before rest of the car. This color, United Grey has its own variations. My buddies UG is slightly different from mine. You can't tell the color difference in person, but it definitely shows up in pictures.

I did have a chance to get Work DHs for the car...don't think they will flow well. Plus I think stepped lip looks the best on these cars. That doesn't leave me with many options. I also like the BBS Super RSs...those are old school.

Hmm...I think it must have been about 60-80 feet away. Definitely different than shooting 10 feet away with 18mm lens. I like how pics turn out but in my case they show just how much clearance the car has. I think with VIP car, it will do just the opposite.

Thanks. I'm undecided on wheels, car, mods....really considering upgrading to a BMW...always loved the 6-series and the prices on them have come down due to economy. Same with 335s, I can get one for around 30K with low miles. Or I could keep my car and save my $$. Decisions, decisions.

No 350z.... Had a trade offer but was only going to sell that too.  Had no idea it would be this hard to sell a car.

yeah luxury cars are tough to sell right now. Especially a modified one. Try posting it somewhere in Scottsdale AZ...you know some kid there will want one.

Ya its back up for sale for $10k without the Works.

Dang thats a steal! Hopefully it will sell quick! Otherwise you could always do something crazy with it...

No way! They are so played out! I really want something different...or the CHs (even though every other GTI has them). I am also thinking Team Dynamics...they are lightweight. Or RH ZR1s...really love the look of a stepped lip on GTIs.

Not really sure...but I think I should have about 250-260hp and close to 300 (maybe a bit more) torque.
