Man i been noticing that the Lexus guys are building left and right and the infiniti guys are slacking a bit! We need to crank it up guys so we can get some things done....
I have some goodies in the back of the warehouse waiting to be put on the car.
I got some things under wraps. I like surprises not build threads.

We will see how some 10.5" up front and 11.5" out back will look on the y33 here real soon... ;)

Just worry about what your doing because there is no completing with the Lexus guys. For one, they have a real message forum LOL
yea tell me about it f50 parts are hard to come by,in my case it took almost 6 months to get front and rear f50 cima bumpers put finally they madee it to the US my rear bumper is getting put on this weekend i just need to modify my rear reinforcement bar due to tha fact that in japan they are slimmer i had to do this on my front bumper also , now my whole chrome molding will be complete , and a few other items coming soon , and some for the new project ls460 ill get some pics soon :biggthumpup:

I admit when I first bought my F50 I regreted because the parts were so hard to come by....and if anything did come by it costed an arm and a leg. You have to love how Infiniti cars can take such low offsets with little mods....especially F50s. I'm running 20x11 +23 with just trimmed fenders and 275 tires. If it were 20x10 or 20x10.5 I'd be in the lower offsets...I would guess around 10-15mm or even lower if I get smaller tires and stretch.
hey speak for yourself ^^^^im never slipping with a win under my belt im still going kranze lxz, custom fenders, custom touring wing, gt grill, k-bbbbreak, and LS600 fogs, a new set of custom headlights w/ f50 gatlins, led O rings, led blinker, smoked tails w/LED selling the JL12w7 and 1000x1 slash and going with the 750/1 and the 13tw5 shallow mount do to lack of trunk space, custom trunk setup. new head unit and practical video install shhhh, we will see how it unfolds
if it's a contest then f**k it, i'm slippin. don't plan on getting traction anytime soon either. i'll just work at my slow a** pace and watch everybody else pass me by.

LOL our parts might be a dime a dozen, but Q45's are a dime a dozen! It's all good though! No need to race and see who's better, all the cars look good when done.

Its just to easy to get parts for Lexus compared to us. I have a few things working but it is going slow because I am saving for as ring and a wedding soon as well. Trying to air over coils with GTR brakes all at once.

I've got to hand it to Lexus with their better resale value....Part of the reason we don't see as many LS430 is because they just plain still cost too much. However a GS is a penny a dozen....everyone and their momma owns one. From poor to rich you see the GS still... the Lexus GS is like the Honda civic to me.

My friend had over 300k original motor on his G50 and about 190K on his Y33. Thats not to say they are cheap to fix :shrug:

CONCERNING THE ORIGINAL POSTER,,,i would like to see more g50 that are decked out,,,yes they are harder to make pretty lol,,,but that is the challenge,,,where is the challenege in hooking up a good looking car,,,,not saying the g50 cant hold its own,,,but it is a bit more difficult to nice a g50 than a ucf,,,which everyone has,,,the only downfall really to the g50 is the limited trunk space and the rears would give u less than considerable amount of space to put mega low offsets without major fender mods....but then again i had one and i was willing to do it...and i just might pick up another if not a g50 then it has to be a y33,,,im a nissan guy to the fullest,,,even tho i like lexus' as well....there shouldnt be a rivalry...i dont really see rivalries in the lowrider families,,,,then why on such a high end forum,,,that is not as snobbish as club lexus should there be rivalries,,,we should all just be hear to help each other,,,i mean thats why we're here for right?

I don't really post much, but i have to say that this entire thread disappoints me to no end. This gives car guys in general a bad name, and Agi hit the nail on the head. The VIP scene in general is so small in the US that we all should be pushing each other to improve the scene as a whole. Why would Infiniti guys be putting down Lexus guys and vice-versa? Speaks very poorly of those involved and certainly is a quick way of creating division vs the unity that the scene needs. And why on earth do people feel the need to constantly put down another person's ride? At the end of the day, I'm a car guy and appreciate all y'alls rides for what they are no matter the stage. Might not always be the wheels, color, or platform that I would choose but I can appreciate the love and care that was put into building it. The last note is, from what I gather, there are but a handful of completed projects rolling in the states anyways... ie: what gives the majority of those posting in this thread the right to talk ish about anyone elses ride? To say that this thread is discouraging is putting it mildly.

I believe this thread was about getting the Infiniti owners to get to work with VIPstyle mods. I think we will see more Infiniti reveals by the spring. Personally I like my F50 because its rare in my city. They didn't sell a lot in Canada. I haven't seen another one on the road in 6 months!

I know lots of pepz on here are kidding because some of the same pepz that are talking smack about other makes are the same ones giving props to those platforms when done right. I personally have always owned Nissans and I know how to work on them (or have them worked on ) cheap. In addition, I know how much more rewarding it is when your done building it if the parts are hard to come by etc. I started building my first SR S14 in 1999 when you couldn't get anything for a 240. Now 10 years later, they are so easy to build. One day that may happen to the infiniti's, but for now I like having to source Y32 coils and mod everything to make it all fit and stay within my budget. I always hope in the back of my mind that builds on here are slow because people are doing them the right way. I know mine is slow, but if it ends up like my last car I don't care...I'll wait.

From reading this entire thread it seems some people have some insecurities they should really let out at another venue. In other words, no more lexus vs infiniti BS, If I read another comment degrading one or the other the offending user will be banned from this thread.

Ok I'll let this thread continue on because I know most of you guys know this is all in good fun. To break the bad news to those of you who do care, my next car will be a UCF20/21, just because used parts for a Y34 and G50 that I initially wanted to get are hard to source. Just sourcing and then installing coilovers for my Y33 was a pain. The whole building a car in a short amount of time is really played out. No one really cares if one were to build a vip car in like 30 days. There's no contest. Seriously, vip cars in this world is really a small group. I haven't seen a vip car in my town in like 8 months, except for 1, and it was my old Y33 that I sold. lol
