Another noob...trying something different...

Hello everyone!!! I'm new to the whole VIP and/or DUB scene, nothing beyond what business marketing does with it anyways in terms of the look and/or lifestyle of VIP.

A little about myself, I'm a broke part-time college student, working full time and definitely NOT living the VIP life style. :pat: However, I love cars, been involved with cars for a long time, mainly Japanese until recently. My past cars include Galant VR4, MK3 Toyota Supra, Volvo 850 T5, and Volvo V70R. Currently I own a '99 BMW 740iL; Antricite exterior with black interior. Some visual mods include 2001 upgrades, wide screen NAV 16:9 instead of the 4:3, 6-series wheels, white led interior lighting in place of factory bulbs, and etc. Next upgrade I'm looking at is suspension, H&R springs on Bilstein struts/shocks. :runcoold:

Looking forward to meeting new people and attending meets.

Thanks! Happy Holidays to you as well. So from what I'm told, there's not too many BMW's around.

I'll take new pics once my new bumper gets in..someone decided they wanted my Auto Couture front bumper when my car was shipped. This is what it looked like when it left:

Forum image

when it got to me...there were several issues. I filed a claim and it was found in my favor..so I'm waiting on a check from them so I can get the bumper here and repaint the car. Mina Gallery has a new prototype roof wing they are sending me as well next week. I'm anxious to get it back in one piece.

THANKS!!! to you as well!

My 7 is an e38, the boxier 7 from The Transporter =). BMWs in general is geared more towards the sport/luxury, hence their motto "The Ultimate Driving Machine" :giggity:. I'm not trying to replicate a full blown JP LS or something...hehe, but just trying to have fun with the car, it's a big/long body cruiser so I think it can take notes from the VIP type sedans. I'm sure being an euro it's going to have a hard time fitting in, it's definately not going to have the same effect as a Japanese car done in the VIP theme, but again, just trying to have fun with it and being different. Again, I look forward to meeting new people in upcoming meets and events because sometimes it's more than just about the cars.

Clean looking 7-series. It looks brand spanking new, You can't even tell it's a older model 7.

What are your plans?

Alright, Here you go. I did a little bit of some sourcing to give you idea;s.

I'd imagine it's be 12" wide rear and 10" wide front. They did a pretty good job on pulling the fender.

Ok, so I've been browsing the Euro section and it seems the e38 is coming up....I'm interested in air suspension and there's a handful of manufacturers. Any particular recommendations for an e38 and an installer in the Bay Area if possible or I might be able to drive down to SoCal.
