I been looking for nice wheels for a nice price:runcoold:ebay has some but the offsets are all like
(+30 and higher) which I totally want no parts of. I want like a 4 - 6 inch lip. I really like a few wheels from amistad ,ame, and work. Only problem is that they are like $3,000 without tires.:rules: I have no problem with paying $3,000 for wheels, but for all that Id rather buy these:shrug:

or
Dub Floaters !!!!!!! For $2,700 with tires ????????? What do you guys think????
Id rather the Amistad, Ame,or Work wheels but I have to find them at a resonable amount. Ebay has a few but they are all scuffed up with wrong tire deminsion.
Here is a sample of the floaters in action....

OMG......ok, Hi! Welcome to VSC...please understand that this is NOT the DUB scene and things are typically done in a clean smooth style. The two styles are NOT to be confused...so search around the forums and learn a bit...then I'm sure we won't see another post like this from you. It's only natural since you're new and just don't have a grasp yet on how things go..so please understand this is constructive criticism.
Floaters belong in the toilet...at least that's what i assumed..looks like these ones do too.

Work wheels are affordable compared to amistads, leons, weds. I would save a bit more rather than buying Dub wheels. There are actually some nice wheels in the FS section here on VSC, you might want to check em out.

There isn't a single design in DUB's current model line that looks decent to me. They are all ghastly.
I've seen sets of Works go for about $2000 new. You just have to find a decent distributor.

Well I didn't know you can't say or mention other products but whatever. I apologize to whom I may have offended. I was just to trying to find the best bang for my buck. But I got now, its all V.I.P. .
So enough with the small talk. Im trying to find deep dish wheels for under 3k. 20's I'd rather but will do 19. Any advice. And what about the mode parfume kit. Can I get it from any where for less then $3,700.

I'd recommend buying used wheels and you could definitely find some under 3k. The way I look at it, the second you put a set of new wheels on your car the value goes down. But if you buy used wheels and keep them nice, you could eventually sell them for around the same price you paid, making it easier to switch to another set. Definitely check the for sale forums here and you can find some killer deals. Other forums will have for sale sections too. I don't personally know of any Nissan forums besides zilvia (you'll likely find alot of 15s-19s here) but clublexus has a pretty good wheel market place too.

Hey Mike, maybe if you posted up which specific wheels you were looking for, with some information as to what offsets and widths you would prefer, some of us could try and help you find them. I know we've all got our hook ups here : ]

Thats the problem justin, I dont have a wheel that I am set on. I will use any wheel long as its a full faced chrome and has a low offset and a nice lip. I want a deep dish look, 4-5 inch lip. I also want it to fit flush with my fenders. I will be running them with my factory sespension till my b-day in march. then I will be getting the universal air suspension kit, adding them to my factory struts. I dont want to have to buy another set of wheels do to improper fender gaps. DO you guys think a 20x9 all the way around will be to narrow to meet my fender flushly. I notice everyone is running 19x9 only in the front and 19x10 in the back.

Sounds like you've got alot of research to do. : ] The widths of the wheel don't matter as much as the offset does pertaining to flushness.
If you're going to bag your car you have to understand that wheels that will sit flush NOW, with stock suspension, will NOT be flush once you've bagged your car and added all that negative camber. And wheels that will fit flush once you've bagged the car, will stick out like a mofo until you do so! I'd recommend doing suspension and rims at the same time, even if you just run on coils til you get your air ready. What you need to do is research research research. Find out what look you want and find out what offsets, widths, diamaters, and drop you need to obtain it.

It took me all of 10 seconds to find this:
Weds Kranze Cerberus II
19x10 -26
19x11.5 -37

PS. It's not hard AT ALL to find deeper wheels, if you have patience and are willing to research.

I have to do one now and one then (in march). So do you think it would be wise to just get the uas first and just ride on my factory tires with the uas for now? The main reason I wanted to buy the rims first was because my tires on my car now needs replacing, so I figured instead of paying $600 for tires for my factory wheels. I might as well buy new rims and tires . Kinda killng to birds with one stone.
It seems to me that plenty of people that already have rims buy the uas or air runner setup and end up flush. Maybe they running coilovers prior to uas.
My ride needs attention........

Say that now camry, I'll be stunting in no time..:slap: Im on the hunt for new items day in and day out. Im not a wheel man, I mean dont get me wrong I love rims, just dont know everything there is to know about them. I dont consider myself to be a noob considering I am a ASE certified tech. I rebuild em, paint em, and reupholster interiors.
I will keep you guys posted on my progress with posted pics. I have (2x) 8 inch rca's for the headrest and a 13 inch flip down on the way. Also a set of halo rings for my head lights.
I want some side mirror turn signals. Imma keep looking for them,:runcoold: I'll find it.
Im pretty sure everyone had the same questions at one time or another. Bear with me, we are in this together, all a part of the V.I.P family. No matter what kind of V.I.P. you own. We all have the same sole purpose, to show everyone in the world we pass another reason why they need a japanese vehicle.

You think I'm Japanese? I hate to disappoint you, but I've never even been to Japan (unfortunately). I don't know how to read Japanese well, but I do know what certain symbols mean and how to use an online translator (not that I needed one for that quick search).

Just use the japanese translator on what ever parts you cant understand. Its a copy and paste type deal. I saw some 18x9 ame's on there with a fair lip for like a grand. But I want 20's, 19 min. Im getting a uas setup so I want wide wheels with a nice offset so my wheels can hug my fenders. Ooooo I cant wait.:signdammit:

Dude no offense so please dont take this the wrong way, but maybe you wanna do a little research and read up on some older threads in here before you just jump and buy some rims. There are alot of things you should think about as well. Are you going to do anything to the suspension? Air? coils? S chasis conversion? I too am stuck on what rims i want right now but I am taking into consideration that im gonna go air and a certain kit. Just my .02 cents Also dont be scared to ask questions we all are here to help each other out.

I am gonna get universal air suspension and some coils also. I just have to do it one at a time, so I was planning on :
buyings the rims -1st
Then uas on stock coils for a while -2nd
Then mode parfume body kit -3rd
or would this not be a good idea? I am relying on you pros for some advice. I dont want my rear wheels to camber in, well not to much. So guys do my order of operation sound suitable?

buyings the rims -1st
Then uas on stock coils for a while -2nd
Then mode parfume body kit -3rd
or would this not be a good idea? I am relying on you pros for some advice. I dont want my rear wheels to camber in, well not to much. So guys do my order of operation sound suitable?
imo, i would do the uas first, then get rims, and then the mode parfume kit.
this is the order i would go in, and the order i plan on going when i get my Q45 y33.
but not with the mode parfume kit..........
