Deep dish 20's or deep dish 19's for a Y33?

I was going to be buying some new shoes in the near future and wanted your take on this,,I know that most people
are running mostly 19's or 18's ..The Y33 has a big wheel well and so 18's are out of the picture.
I do have 20's on now 20x8.5 +38 ,20x9.5 + 40  ( I know the offset is pretty weak) lesson learned :knuppel2:..I am starting to think if it wasnt for the back dish 
beeing a little wider than the fron they might look a little dubbish..and for the life of me I do not want that look.
Now I was thinking with a more aggressive offset and a JDM VIP wheel that it would look sick. However I lover the way some nice aggresive 19's look..
What do you guys think..do you guys think that some more aggressive 20's would look better or worse than same speced 19's..

20x9 + 10 f
20x10 +15 r 
or
19x9 + 10
20x10 + 15f

honestly i like the wheels that are on your car, but if you downsize now your probably not going to like it so i think you should stick with 20's

Go with 19's, 20's are too big for stock body cars imo. And you shouldn't rule out 18's either... the only reason there is a lot of fender space on your car is because it's not low. I think 19's are a good look for stock body VIP cars, especially if it's low. 

a lot of japanese owners are starting to go 20's for most applications.
however, like you mentioned, buying 20" vip style wheels would make the car look very nice and less dub'ish
but 20's do cost more than 19's so i guess the last persons approval to go 18, 19 or 20's is yourself

wide, low profile tires are gonna kill you. But I would go with 20's, especially if you're planning on slamming the car and getting a kit.

My favourite Y33 was in a recent VIP mag and it had 19"s on the front, and 20"s on the rear. The rear arches had been raised about 2-3" so that even though it was lying on the ground, the rear wheels were flush with the fenders... [i]tsuraichi[/i]

i'd stick with 20s... but also would like to see the pics of your car...

I have 20s and they dont look TOO BIG..........

Do you mean the black Y33 with the expands? Rear was like 11.5", -11 or something like that...?
Stance is everything in terms of determining how a particular set of wheels will ultimately look. 19s can look good... but for the style you'd like to achieve, you'd want to run stretched tires on them, and then to get the car to look right on them, you'd need to make sure it was lowered adequately. If you're not going to sliggity slam the car, then you will want to consider running a setup that's a little larger overall, to fill up the wheelwell gap... in which ase, 20s might not be a bad idea. Hmm, but you're going to run the tein springs right? If so, double check other people with the same springs, and see the stance it gives their cars, and then you can see how much room you have to play with as far as filling up the wells with wheels

Yep, that was the one... basically laying frame with 20x11.5 -11 wheels... Hotness!

Actually, simply speaking, if you just tossed 20s on to a car with 19s, then the difference is just .5" all around (remember that it's 1" larger in diameter, but just 1/2" radius... so 1/2" above the axle centerline, and 1/2" below the axle centerline. Of course, it's not just that simple, because the real measurement to go by is the OD (overall/outside diameter) of the tire on the wheel. So if your 20s with tires has an OD similar to the OD of your 19s with its tires, then there would be no real change except for the visual... in which case, visually, although the OD is unchanged, the wheels will still look like they're filling up more of the wheelwell simply cuz the wheels themselves are bigger.
