I saw a black one slammed with huge mufflers crusing along one day. It looked sick. That body style is pretty gangster. The newer ones are bloated.

Here is mine. Sold the Y33 for it. The 7 series should eat the Q for breakfast in all honesty. Must be something wrong with your buddys 99. 99-01 were the faster of the 4.4 V8's with the addition of VANOS.

nice wheels. i always wanted those on an older hamann m5 when the price drops.
and im sure the 99+ 7 series is quicker than the y33, but cant beat an f50.
i agree on the 745 being big in the DUB scene but it can look pretty sweet. i actually dont like the exterior of the 750. reminds me of an overweight 3 series sedan. those 20 way seats with the pillow is tight though. only new 7 id take is the B7!!!! :giggity:

A nice 7series from Guam, keep in mind these pics were taken in 2006 and were posted in these forums back then. The car has been through some changes, including a face lift and an addition of a junction produce quad-tip type-3 exhaust. It was also featured on Takahiro Taketomi's blog and may have sparked some interest in developing parts for BMWs.

Not bad looking but to me for some reason the short wheelbase models look funny to me. Also, whats up with the V12 badging? They only offered the V12 in the long wheelbase unless its different in Guam than in the States and in Germany. Are there any updated pics of this car somewhere? I've trying to decide where to start on my own one and I'm kinda feeling the exhaust on these pics coming out of what looks to be a modified stock bumper.

this car is an 745il, long whell base w/ the V12 under the hood. the owner is the Junction
rep. on guam. several of the parts were custom made for him from Junction. not too sure if Junction has any plans on producing parts for the beemers yet. but they're able to custom build, as they were willing to make a set of scaras for my wife's xB.

I've never thought my Q is a slouch, and I got my drivers license 23 years ago: I've driven plenty of V8's. Sure, it's no rocket ship, but 7 seconds to 60 for a late 90's luxury car was at the time great, and still is not "slow". I drive fast, always have, always will. I wouldn't mind a little more power, but it's not a deal killer.

I wouldn't mind a little more power, but it's not a deal killer.
any body have any problems with the 740 il??? like mid 90's to 01???? My buddy said they randomly break down and have little nick nack problems that are annoying and occur quite a bit. somebody let me know please.

I have a 98 and its been great so far (1yr) I've done some semi-major jobs on the car when I first got it (cats, valley pan gasket, valve cover gaskets tune up) but now she's running smooth with no problems. They can be troublesome if you get it from someone who did take care of the car. They can be iffy if your not a DIY'er.
Overall I love my car and I was gonna go VIP "style" but I'm just gonna do it my way since its not even a vip platform to begin with. Maybe an LS is on the way....;0)

If I'm not mistaken, those look like the MMR HR3's. They only come in two widths. Either 8.5 or 9.5. From the pictures, I can't tell which he's running. I do agree... They look good on this particular platform.

what suspension are you on?
Its not an "off the shelf kit"....I fabricated the mounts, brackets, etc, etc.
The only company that I found who made a direct bolt-on was asking 3k for the setup. I figured, Id just build it myself. I dont like this car enough to dump 3k into the suspension LoL!...into the suspension of a car I drive maybe twice a month. :(
I was using Accuair management but pulled that out for my E65 project. I replaced it with my own crude (home made) switchbox and wireless keychain remote that I configured to work with the air management.
